BRUTAL

It has everything the first game had, minus a few things I'll state later. I completed the original 3 or 4 times since it released, and it is by far my favourite AC, as well as one of my favourites of all time. This time tho, its like the feeling you got from the first time you played it, as a lot of things are different. First off, there's none of that annoying, time-consuming Abstergo Employee gameplay. Every part of the gameplay feels so much better especially climbing and combat. The game itself looks much better as you'd expect, and the characters also, apart from my Edward has a weird low res beard and hair, but thats probably just my settings. Some cons, for whatever reason, you can no longer choose whether you use the hidden blades or swords for combat. I understand the choice, as Edward is a pirate, not a master assassin, so he should prefer swords and guns, but I liked the idea of him becoming more of an assassin. On controller, the whole system for weapon/tool choosing is finnicky and hard to understand. It told me during the tutorial on Havana, but it disappeared after like 2 seconds so I'll have to figure it out myself. Finally, a big con is the deluxe edition. I bought it because the outfit and ship stuff looks cool. But in game, completely wrong. The gold is so bright and shiny, and looks nowhere near as cool as the images. Other than that, I think the game is what it should have been. People have been saying that the game didn't need a remake, which is true, but it deserved one, and I can see myself completing this many times again.
