Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 8 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The epitome of arbitrary complexity. There's dozens of kinds of units but you'll be hard pressed to understand or even notice the difference between them, and good luck trying to discriminate between the indistinct build icons. It's also surprisingly hard to control, with a weird grouping system layered on top of normal control groups that also interferes with it and makes it *harder* to reinforce, not easier. The campaign story is presented in a form straight out of an early-2000s also-ran RTS like KKND or Act of War, but without the charisma of either. It's not even very good-looking, to be honest. There's just so much noise going on in big fights that you can't appreciate any of it. It's all just pointlessly bloated.
After many years, finally worked on Steam/Linux. Game is good and recommended to add to your RTS collection. I think it is better than Supreme Commander though both share lot's of similarities.

The trailer looks like a worthy C&C type game... That´s not completely wrong, but also it´s pretty misleading. There are base building elements. You build more buildings, which offer new features and more units. But here already is the end of similarities reached. The bigger gameplay element is the capture the flag type elements. You fight of several parts of the map. If you wipe out the enemies of a part and the resource is conquered, it´s yours and you can buld on it. It´s still a living real time strategy game but feels way more chilled than a C&C match. What else is to mention.. The campaign contains dialogue screens to progress the story and teach the player new mechanics. After a Campaign Level you usually have a short prerendered action cutscene. Funny thing in the German Version: In the mission everything is english. Dialogue etc. Im Cutscenes and in between Level dialogue everything is dubbed German with... let´s say waaaay worse voice actors than the solid english ones. Still... If you seek a strategy game and hate fast and hasty gameplay you might like this one very much.
This is a direct clone to games like Supreme Commander or Planetery Annihilation. But a worse one. The visuals are way less clear (a huge no-go for a game like this) and the controls are clunky. It adds some additional layer by introducing a ressource that you use for upgrades, increasing your army size and orbital abilities. This might be interesting, if you had a polished game otherwise. But here it is just another layer on top of already cluttered visuals and gameplay. It also has a singleplayer campaign, but the story is not interesting and the voice acting mediocre. The first mission is literally: You only have one unit, avoid enemies. And at the end you get one single artillery unit and have to watch for over a minute while it tries to destroy a few units. Way to make a bad first impression.
Some aspects of this game are lovely and I enjoy the overall way this game plays. However, one aspect of the game which absolutely infuriates me is the unit path finding in large army groups with a large variety of different unit types. The game is utterly hopeless in these situations, especially on a dynamic battlefield where situations change. I do not appreciate seeing my units being gunned down due to them taking forever to execute a move order efficiently. Personally, I have found the PHC to be mostly ok, but the Substrate are a complete pain in this regard.
It's Almost Supreme Commander Forged Alliance good.

Very replayable, even after 70 hours.
Overall a really great RTS. I love the great zoom control (being able to go from individuals units to a 2d perspective of the map) along with all the usual features of this kind of game. I'm not very good at this game, even after investing a bit of time into it. That's partly me but there is also a genuinely steep learning curve to this game if you're unfamiliar (as I was). Maybe an old-time RTS lover will find this even more appealing. All in all, if you want this kind of game, this is a good option.
"Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation" delivers a truly epic RTS experience, with massive armies clashing across vast landscapes. The game's Nitrous Engine is groundbreaking, allowing for incredibly large and detailed battles with thousands of units on screen.
