I had a pleasure to try this game before it went on sale on Steam, and I really enjoyed it. So when I learned it's finally available on Steam — got it immediately. It's quite cozy. It reminds me of good old days even though I am not typically much into this genre — i just liked it and it made me feel good. Like having a good nostalgy dinner. Go get it.
wow that was intense! I love when the game is hard, so when I get slightly better at it that brings me so much joy love everything about the visuals and sounds! Definitely worth trying it, would recommend
Overall score: 8/10 (Gamebreaking bugs) [SOLVED] I played for 5 hours so far. Game is amazing. I liked the idea of being able to upgrade items/combine them etc. However, so many bugs. I made the perfect run so far. Killed the boss. Achievement unlocked. However, boss is stuck in a weird phase where it does not die! Therefore, does not give you the item to progress to the next level. Relog? Does not solve. Go out and back in to the boss room? Does not solve...

Been waiting for this since the Dev advertised it on the Gen Z reddit page. This game kinda reminds me of Hades, and both of games run flawlessly at max resolution on my Lenovo Legion Go. Honestly, its a great game for handheld PC consoles like the Legion Go, Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, etc.
I had fun at first but some major problems become quickly apparent. 1. When you die you start over, but the items, monsters, and layout are very similar and defeating them again is tedious. There's a lack of variety basically. What makes replays of this kind of game fun is the randomness and chance to get stronger between runs. 2. Some items are really unbalanced in usefulness. For example, an amulet that lets me pick up coins with a keypress on a cooldown is useless when coins don't expire anyway. Vs. an amulet that automatically prevents an enemy hit every few seconds. I can only have one amulet slot, why would i ever pick the former? 3. There are only 3 weapon slots as far as I can tell and you need to switch between them pretty frequently. Rather than having LMB shoot and using 1, 2, 3 on the keyboard why not just have 3 buttons on your mouse? Without this option it slows me down and given the fast nature of the game it's easy to hit the wrong key, or get hit while trying to hit the key and go back to WADS.
fun game, just the right amounts of difficult
You thought you were good at these games until now. Lots of fun ways to mix and stack stats to keep the play style fresh. So far I've gotten barely to the second area, and already i feels like a new game getting there. Excited to see the other bosses. There's surprising depth to combat, like knowing when to tank a hit vs when to attack to time enemy animations right.
I've had my eyes on this game for about a week before its released, as someone who really enjoys roguelikes and dungeon crawlers, and my experience over the past 2 days has lived up to, if not rose above my expectations. The game looks great (pixel art, of course), the gameplay is difficult but fun, and the soundtrack is great. With only 3 days since release, I cant wait to see what else is yet to come.
This game has been a lot of fun! It is definitely quite challenging since there is only a parry option and and it has pretty unforgiving timing. I think if there was a sort of dash or roll ability it would make some of the boss fights a little less spammy overall since a lot of the bosses are quite tanky. Overall I really enjoy this game and this you should check it out too as it has a lot of potential and is complete as a game. Don't think it will be a walk in the park when trying to beat this game.
ENGLISH It's not a bad game but do not expect too much. It's great for a couple of hours to kill your dead time. I saw the developer's post on Reddit and I said I was going to buy it. The art is great but the gameplay is pretty repetitive and its lack of versatility is something to take into consideration. After beating the Maizer and continue to the next fire floor, the game becomes very hard (maybe just for me or I'm too bad which is possible). The boss kill me in one hit even though I had good item combination. The rush mode (faster runs) seems harder as enemies are stronger than they usually are in the first floor and you don't have the same level of items. Idk if it's made in that way on purpose. Also, it would be great if the game would have had subtitles or be able to change the language, not only in spanish, so the player will be able to understand the lore and of course if a game is in many languages, it will reach more players:) Finally, I'm not sure if it's the game but it got freeze for a second while I was playing a couple times. It's not bad for be the first developer's game, I hope he/she/they take the feedback for the next game. If you need a rate I would say 6.5/10 ESPAÑOL No es un mal juego, pero no esperes demasiado.
