In Arrow Sudoku, every puzzle contains a handful of "arrows" laid out in unique patterns. The numbers found along the shaft of the arrow must sum up to the number at the base. This simple rule leads to endless variety in the puzzles you will conquer.

This is O.K. If you love playing sudoku, get this. But, I don't like how, if you get the number wrong, it highlights your error in red. And, you're going to need that, because most of the puzzles can not be solved by working through them using logic alone. I've seen puzzles in this game where with the given information there was multiple valid solutions. (And, I'm not just talking about there being a lot of number notations before you narrowed things down. But legit', 1 and 3, 3 and 1, and 3 and 1, VERSUS 3 and 1, 1 and 3, and 1 and 3 being two different possible solutions for 6 unsolved squares.) But, only the solution that matches the secret solution key will do. Also, while this isn't a bad game mode. Let's be honest. The "arrows" are just the "cages" like those in killer sudoku. It's just the cage sum happens to be an the adjacent number in the circle. Sure, not knowing what that number is does make it more interesting. And it gets still more interesting when those become 2 digit sums. Plus, there's no achievements. The good news is the game isn't borderline unplayable, like Konstructors' Sudoku Killer, for example. There are nice quality of life features. Some count it highlighting your errors there. As mentioned, that just seems like cheating to me. When you pick a big number it saves you the trouble of manually deleting the notations that are in conflict with it, by doing it automatically. There's even an undo button in the bottom right corner of the interface, that allows you to reverse that when, inevitably, you're either forced to brute force a puzzle, or, you happen to left click a number by accident. Though this makes me wonder, if they're hand-holding us that much, why didn't they just gives us a button to fill in the notations for us?

My wife and I picked up this game after developing a little bit of a routine of watching Cracking the Cryptic videos on YouTube in the evenings. We're about 12 solves in and are loving it -- the puzzles are clever, different, and the hand-picked nature of each really shines through. It's definitely a different experience than solving a bunch of sequential puzzles in a similarly-priced Sudoku book from the store or software with randomly generated boards, We're amateurs, but starting to pick up the different solving tricks and applying the logic on our own is quite fun. The interface is great and intuitive, with the only limitation I see being only 3 coloring options for cells compared with the 9 options I've seen available in other programs. While I haven't run into a puzzle that has needed one yet in the game, some of CTC's solves definitely are made easier by coloration. All in all, I feel like it's a very fair price for the amount of enjoyment and content you get. While there's supposedly going to be 100 puzzles by sometime next year, even if it stays at 40 I feel like it's good value. Definitely recommended if you at all enjoy Sudoku!
A unique installment of the CtC App-series, now in this Arrow Sudoku variant you can see some top-setters contributing their constructions as well as the CtC experts' puzzles, and oh boy, these puzzles are all a treat. Much higher quality than the other installments, some of these puzzles you really need to pause and take a good look how on earth you can move forward. No need to hunt Y wings or bent tripples here, but some of the logic is just so unique and clever you will be amazed. Now this installment so far has 40 puzzles but as I mentioned the quality on these is higher, with even the great Phistomefel giving his best. Do not miss this one. My only negative comment is that most of the puzzles need the human Hints, and some of them are cryptic and contain some big leaps in logic, I also found some typos in them, but they are good for your brain to find where to look at and what to reason about.
Yeah yeah this game is good. 9.6 out of 10. Because i am an a-hole. However this game is good. If you really just want to say screw everything. And to be pointed into the right and or correct direction. ALL THE TIME! then great! No really! Just great! Because this game is objective proof that you can infact have Arrows within and or without Sudoku. Which just means that theres Arrows. I do think that these are good Arrows, however i cannot take it anymore, And just want to regret everything. And everything. And or anything. Never again. Not without Arrows. I can't take it anymore. GOD PLEASE HELP ME GOD!!! Overall i would recommend this game not just to my friends. But to my enemies. Because not enough people are playing this game. The prwoblems with my enemies is that they are almost all stupid. Which means, that this game will help them be less stupid but anything like that' usually backfire or they would use it against me eventhough it is just Sudoku. However i would consider this game. Either in general and or to be infact a good game. However this is not just a game and life is not just a game. However there are (infact) Arrows within and without this game. Which means everything to me. Not just now but in the future. When i have no concept of reality.
Nice collection of puzzles. Will play more when they update.

Love the puzzles so far, but it's been a year since launch and this promise still goes unfulfilled sadly: Features: 100 puzzles in all with regular updates to reach this total in the first year post launch. Edit: they suddenly got all the new puzzles in, think they forgot to update this one lol. Nice and fast reaction within ~a day though <3
Great game, love it
