Ark Nova

A high functioning adaption of an already incredible board game. This is a must buy if you already like ark nova and have friends who'd play with you online. My group argues constantly about whether or not this actually plays better than the over the table version, and I think there's a strong argument to be made that it does. Having the computer track every little stray point or bit of money earned is so handy, and I think all the UI is well designed. Overall there's not much to complain about, except maybe the long turn timer being overly harsh and playing repeatedly for every player regardless of who triggers it. If you haven't played ark nova before, my recommendation still stands, with the caveat that this is a fairly complex game. There's a lot to learn, and even with experienced players often take 90+ minutes. That complexity pays off in a big way as there is so much strategy to this game, I really feel like I'm always learning something. If you like a board game you can really sink your teeth into, or play a lot of Magic the Gathering I really can't recommend this game enough

Plays like the original and has a very good tutorial. Only downside for me is playing on a laptop the screen can feel a little over crowded but you can change this by minimising certain areas

Loved this as a board game and love the software application. Steam app is very good for learning and refining your strategy, Easy to create & play games with friends.

Je ne possède pas le vrai jeu de plateau et je n'y ai jamais joué donc je ne peux pas comparer. Cela étant dit, le jeu est tout simplement génial. Les multiples dimensions stratégiques font que 2 parties ne sont jamais les mêmes. J'avais pensé avoir développé une stratégie très favorable mais les parties successives m'ont donné tort. Le côté numérique est très pratique et on peut rapidement lancer une partie. Les parties seul contre l'IA sont une bonne méthode pour apprendre à jouer et faire une partie contre trois IA au maximum est proprement démoniaque. Merci aux auteurs d'avoir fait cette version numérique, je n'ai plus de place chez moi !

Great game, lots of different approaches to winning. I particularly love the solo mode and the new challenges every 3 days.

This is just a fantastic game.
