About
Arctic Awakening is a first-person narrative adventure set in the mysterious Arctic North where you and your robotic companion, Alfie, must search for your co-pilot and uncover the mysteries waiting around every turn.
It was supposed to be routine. A supply drop to an Alaskan town, auto-pilot on, guard down. You and Donovan were already planning post mission drinks when it happened.
The storm.
Half the plane disappeared in a flash. Donovan was gone, lost to the howling tempest. Waking from the crash, you find yourself alone, trapped in a frozen wilderness, your only companions a court-mandated therapy bot and temperatures that can cut a man to shreds. Hope for survival lies in finding your friend and maybe a way home.
You are Kai, a pilot without a plane, lost in the wilderness of the far north. You’ll need your wits about you to brave the elements, find your co-pilot and get the hell out of Dodge. Along the way, you might just discover what it was that cut your plane clean in two... and what it is making those noises after dark.

Arctic Awakening is a narrative adventure where your choices affect the decisions of those around you. Your actions will change your relationship with your companions and perhaps your story itself.

Exploring vast landscapes and their hidden sci-fi structures is key to unraveling the secrets that surround you. Uncover the mystery of your missing co-pilot, the source of the catastrophe that left you stranded, and maybe, just maybe, find a way home.

The environment itself is a character, one not always on your side. You’ll journey through an ever-changing world of dynamic weather, gorgeously realized vistas and unusual structures that create an atmosphere of discovery, potential and unease. But are you really as alone out here as you think?
First-person narrative adventure where facing the elements may just be the least of your worries.
Breathtaking Arctic vistas and expansive sci-fi facilities to explore.
Story-centric choices that shape the narrative, relationships and world around you.
An edge of your seat mystery with many secrets to uncover.
World-class voice acting brings the thrilling tale and each captivating character to life.
Released as a collection of five 2-hour chapters to play at your own pace.

Great game i truly liked this game and the feel of it and the story an did make me laugh a little at times, i did have few bugs an had to start a point again as the prompt to do a thing like start a fire or activate a wot ever would not happen but not sure if just something my end or a bug in a game, but i truly truly liked this game and it might not be for everyone but it a great walking sim with a good story and more.
As of writing this I finished the game, and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I see what they were going for, behind the idea/theme backing the story but I think it was poorly executed. I've played multiple walking sims and I have to say that the pacing in this one is awful; there are multiple times where you are walking around and despite being a therapy bot, Alfie hardly proposes any thought provoking questions or dialog in these moments that could make those pointless stretches of time go by faster or actually somewhat feel essential to the story. I did I like some bits of the short comments with him to time to time but the majority of the topics and perspectives shared were really generic and dry not very intriguing. It took me around 7 hours and I think they easily could have fit all of the core moments and puzzles easily within 4. The puzzles were underwhelming, things as simple as picking up a key card on a desk to flipping on a couple switches just to proceed into the next area. I know it is hard to make a game, and I think they had passion behind it but I was disappointed. So unfortunately, I do not recommend.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fantastic game, one of the best stories out of any of the games I have played. 10/10 would recommend.
Long but very interesting story.
This hit the spot as a chill walking sim with a decent story game that I was looking for. But it's not on par with the classics like Firewatch, The Invincible, Edith whatshername, etc. Plus the activist Devs just couldn't help themselves and forced an unnecessary biracial Lesbian relationship into the story.
Beautiful game, enjoyable story line but slow at times and feels too scripted. I would recommend for those looking for and easy and relaxing game.
After playing the game for over 9 hours, the game bugged out and we are completely softlocked out of progressing further. Oddly there's no chapter select or option to load a previous save (the game works on an autosave system). I reached out to the developers via their Discord and Email nearly two weeks ago now and unfortunately never heard back anything regarding assistance with the issue. If the developers ever reach back out, I'd be open to changing this review, but at this time am very frustrated at the wasted money and time and certainly can't recommend this game. EDIT: After this initial review, the developer did respond to my email and helped to fix my broken save file (thanks again)! Fair warning that there is still no Chapter Select/Reset Chapter option as of the time of this review, so wishing the best of luck to anyone who picks up this title that you don't experience a similar softlocking issue like ours.
In general I would say I would recommend it. I loved most the wonderful voice acting. Also positive was that you could save the game almost anytime. Moreover the plot was very interesting and made you come up with your own theories and stay curios. The graphics were pretty though not personally my favourite type but that is just taste. There were some bugs where I had to restart a scene because I could not move anymore but that was not often. What I did not like was that I often struggeled to find out what I had to do next. I would have wished for more tips after some time and maybe the option to reread what the characters said. But I have to add that I don´t play a lot of games so maybe for someone else it would be easier to know what the game wants from you.
