Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really wanted to enjoy this game, but I ended up returning it. Honestly feels like an early access experience. There is no story, no quests, no dialogues, nothing. So much for decision making. You're just playing a better-looking Shoppe Keep. Most of the designs like UI and popups feel super rough and most features feel bland or way too overdemanding for a "relaxing" experience. In the first week you barely have time to restock or clean, otherwise customers get angry at you for the wait time, not even mentioning running back and forth from the port or the mecenaries. The furniture placement is buggy, sometimes you can place a shelf, sometimes you can't, and it feels like the way you set up your shop has no influence on anything, even though it was mentioned as an important aspect of the game in the description. Just a somewhat sad and boring experience. Would play again if it wasn't for the unfinished feel.
The game is alright. Its mostly just another Supermarket Simulator / TCG Simulator clone. If you know that gameplay, then you know exactly how this game will play. Downvoting because it really loses steam in the mid-to-late gameplay. Once you unlock employees and autobuy stocking, youre kinda just standing around waiting for enough of a specific item to sell so you can advance the research tree, but the research tree doesnt give you anything interesting after that point. It'll take a dozen in-game hours to sell enough of the required items unless you remove everything else from your store. I found myself just letting it run in the background while i watched a video because theres no benefit of decorating or micromanaging prices and the employees just do all the work for you

This is a tricky one for me to put into words. I'll start by saying: I really like this game. I like the premise, I like the art style, the mechanics are solid. All of that said, it feels like it is missing the "Arcane" element of Arcane Merchant. You cast one (one) spell, then bop thieves with a book. There's no enchanting or potion making to be seen, which feels like a lost opportunity. Your trade "empire" currently consists of one shop, and the city feels kind of small. The citizenry have SO MUCH PERSONALITY in their walks, but the lack of interaction with them kind of makes it slide off. On the whole, very solid foundation and execution. Needs a little more Oomph to go from Good to Great. TL;DR: Pros: Artwork Merchant Play Relaxing Character designs YOU CAN PET THE CAT Cons: Minimal Arcane Small World Limited Interaction with NPCs
I really wanted to like this game, but the staff being locked behind so many products you need to sell kills it for me. I can barely keep up with the cash register, ordering new stock, and stocking shelves, and cleaning while I'm only selling 3 items. I didn't actually count the number of items you need to research to get your first staff member unlocked but I would estimate it's maybe an additional 15 or so, and you don't just have to unlock the items, you have to sell a specific number of each item before you can unlock the next to sell. The fun part is that the game doesn't even tell you any of that, it just says unlock the Beastmaster so you can hire staff, then the next step is hire staff. But then you find out you don't have any staff capacity, but the game does absolutely nothing to tell you how to increase that so I had to go google it. This is supposed to be a chill merchant sim, I don't want to have to run myself ragged trying to keep all that stuff in stock, cleaning, manning the register, and ordering stock. That's just stressful.
Nice cozy game if your into store type games. It has a chill and cozy atmosphere I highly recommend :)
Arcane Merchant is a game about owning a magical shop where you sell all kinds of goods. The progression is very steady, and it really makes you earn your upgrades through research. It's probably one of the best shop keeper games I've ever played.
This game has a very good core. I hope the dev considers working an expansion that adds a ton more (Fishing, new shop on that island with a sword in it, more research/items/adventures) I wish there were more games like this with the same quality. I would like the cat to be the shop guardian after so many pets and attack stinky people
Nice and cozy game but needs more content. After you prepare automations you would like to spend time on decorations but even they are not enough. PS: If you fix the framerate to 120 then your CPU is heating less.
So, I liked the game, it was super addictive to manage the shop and adventurers, but it felt like the game just stopped at a certain point where I had done all of the unique quests, I researched the entire tech tree, I employed all of the helpers, and then it was just the same for the next 5 hours that I played. TL:DR - Very fun and addictive game for 25 hours. And then it's the same forever after. Buy if 25 hours of frantic merchant-sturbation is worth the purchase price for you.
