About
In ARC Raiders, gameplay flows between the surface ruled by lethal machines, and the vibrant underground society of Speranza. Craft, repair, and upgrade your gear in the safety of your own workshop, before venturing topside to scavenge the remnants of a devastated but beautiful world. Play solo or in parties up to three, navigating the constant threat of ARC's machines and the unpredictable choices of fellow survivors. In the end, only you decide what kind of Raider you are - and how far you’ll go to prevail.
Explore four distinct maps at launch, with more to be revealed as the underground society evolves and expands its reach. Each destination carries the weight of a world twice-destroyed, and the scars of conflicts both old and new. Sift through the remnants for valuable loot, and piece together the past as it's slowly reclaimed by nature. Evolving map conditions ensure that no two runs are the same, with varying weather, enemies, and mechanics adding unpredictability and danger.
In a society built on boldness and bravado, it is up to you to stake your claim as a Raider. The loot you scavenge can be sold for coin or crafted into all-new gear, allowing you take on increasingly lethal dangers head-on. Through both victories and hardships, you'll gain valuable experience; unlocking varied skills that enable all-new ways of play. In addition, you'll complete quests for Traders with differing motives and agendas; uncovering both the friction and comradery of a community under constant threat of collapse.
Lethal machines known as ARC rule the surface, ranging from unrelenting drone swarms to mechanical giants that obliterate everything in their path. Their origins remain a mystery, but their ever-present danger is felt with every step you take. Each machine comes with distinct strengths and tactics, forcing you to pinpoint their weak spots and constantly think on your feet. And remember: the noise of battle carries. Other Raiders may be listening; eager to claim what you leave behind.
Raiders survive by kitbashing scavenged materials; using long-lost tech and looted ARC parts to craft weapons, gadgets, and gear. Upgrade your workshop stations and learn blueprints to craft even more advanced items, or improvise quick fixes in the field to get yourself out of a bind. As you make a name for yourself, you'll be able to measure your skill against other Raiders by taking on Trials; rising through the leaderboards to earn valuable rewards.
In Speranza, everyone has an agenda, and the Traders are no different. They’ll send you topside on missions in exchange for rewards, slowly revealing more about who they are and what they want for Speranza’s future. Complete quests to earn gear, crafting materials, and XP to level up your Raider and unlock new skill points.
The ARC Raiders skill tree branches into three paths: Survival, Mobility, and Conditioning. Spend your points to shape your playstyle. Loot faster and move quieter with Survival skills. Outmaneuver your opponents and threats with Mobility. And enhance your Strength and Stamina with Conditioning. Choose how you grow and what your Raider brings to the battle.
Whether you’re preparing to take down specific ARC enemies or fend off rival Raiders, there's a choice of weaponry for every fight. Cater to your style with a range of firearms including SMGs, rifles and shotguns, as well as more advanced options such as railguns and energy weapons. Grenades, traps, ziplines and deployables offer the tactical depth needed to outsmart your enemies, while augments allow you to tailor your loadout to your preferred playstyle; unlocking dedicated inventory slots and additional gameplay perks.

I like it. I've played a couple of extraction shooters before and it was not really a genre I was that bothered about, but this pulled me right in. I like the jeopardy of PvPvE even though my personal preference is teamwork with strangers, helping others, random trades and generosity, exchanging blueprints and gear with complete randoms. The vast majority of people I've encountered on this game are decent and kind. As you'd expect, there are a small amount of a**hats who just want to make others' lives miserable - I'm not talking about people who want to go all in on PVP, just people who's general MO is to make other peoples' lives miserable - but that is a tiny minority. I'm open to PvP, but I have way more fun teaming up and helping people out, fighting ARCs and the experience has definitely improved with the recent matchmaking changes, hopefully for all players. I imagine people who like griefing and shooting people in the back are probably unhappy they are now generally in a lobby with like-minded players instead of unsuspecting targets just trying to relax. Good game and well worth the money for me. Graphically great and I like the levelling and projects system - plenty of replay value if you like that sort of thing.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

When the game first came out, it was funny as hell seeing people work together to fight against the arc. Idk what the community is like now, but the combat is extremely good even if that coop aspect isn't really prevelant anymore. For me the looting got pretty repetitive around 35 hours in.
I mean if you know you know
I originally started playing on PS5 and when i eventually got my desktop i bought it for pc but for whatever reason this game runs like crap on it. I have constant stuttering issues that borderline make the game unplayable for me which puts me at a disadvantage in every gunfight. Every other game i own on my PC runs great no issues whatsoever. It is only Arc Raiders that i have this problem with.
this game sucks and its filled with cheaters don't buy it
The gameplay itself is very fun, but the culture is not. There are a lot of very awesome PVE players, but in a game with essentially no rules, the PVP players ruin it for the PVE players. A simple fix to this would be creating some PVE only servers or creating a better matchmaking system than what is currently offered. This culture makes using high level, resource intensive, difficult to craft weapons very difficult to enjoy because you’re always at risk of them being stolen by a guy with a tricked out lower tier weapon that gets the drop on you. It’s just too chaotic. I’ve noticed recently that a lot of the games I started dropped me into lobbies that were half over. Games start with a 30 minute timer, but I keep being dropped into lobbies with 15-17 minutes left, which is frustrating because it takes 2-10 minutes to get to a specific area of a map, depending on where y out spawn in, and most of the good stuff will already have been looted into those lobbies. The game apparently has some kind of continuous filling system that keeps putting people into matches until there is 10-15 minutes left. So players that start a fresh game enter, go raid the high loot areas, leave and then new players get thrown into these lobbies that are more resource deprived. Also, every time the community comes up with a convenient way to take down a specific type of PVE enemy, the devs patch it to make it harder or invalidate that method entirely. And half the time it doesn’t make any sense because new PVE enemies spawn in after a couple minutes. So not only are you having to constantly watch your back from PVP players, but you also have to continuously come up with new ways to battle increasingly difficult to destroy PVE enemies, sometimes by just having to bring stacks and stacks of ammo. Several relatively simple fixes, such as PVE only lobbies and the devs not patching every creative thought the player base has, could make the game a lot more enjoyable.
Trash game full of cheaters.
