Loved this game as a teen but never finished it. Finally went back to replay and get the true ending. Good soundtrack, rewarding exploration. Story was hit or miss for me, and a few of the bosses are pretty unintuitive. Definitely a product of its time, but still fun with some neat mechanics.
It's dated at this point. No decent map, and a savepoint-only save system make this hard to play today.

This game was one of the first major indie games and very impressive for its time. I remember buying it on their homepage before I got my steam account. It has sadly aged like milk, except for the music and some of the visuals. I still don't know why the you had to do the whole music part to use your powers, but there was a nice little payoff at the end of the game at least. The game also does some things in the story that honestly surprised me a lot, and there is a lot of earnisty in it that newer indie games could learn a thing or two about. I would only really recommend this game if you really want to play more metroidvanias and the idea of doing so underwater appeals to you... Or maybe you are just an indie archeologist. This game does indeed belong in a museum.
Una canción de cuna olvidada en el abismo, donde la belleza de sus colores es solo el eco de una soledad tan profunda y cristalina como el océano que te rodea.
