About
Approximately Up is your best chance to experience spaceflight in whatever you and your crew (singleplayer or co-op multiplayer with up to 4 players) can bolt together! Build epic spaceships or barely flying trashcans — it’s entirely up to you. Control your creation from a first-person view right from the deck of your ship. Complete challenging objectives, hunt achievements, face the dangers of space, and collect new components to expand your current spacecraft — or build hundreds of new ones. One is never enough!
Everything begins with a single piece of frame and grows into a massive, complex ship built from thousands of components. Create automated systems, experiment with different input controllers, sensors, and meters — connect them to whatever you need, and let the magic (or chaos) happen! Once it looks ready (or not), hit launch and see what happens!

Experimental power sources that need to be delivered to a station on another planet — causing unexpected power outages mid-flight? Some strange energy crystal charging up like a ticking time bomb? Or maybe it’s just a massive, ridiculously heavy submarine this time? Can your spaceship handle that?

Is the planet covered in oceans? What’s hiding beneath that thick atmosphere? Can you see the surface through those massive clouds? Everything’s waiting for you to find out! Explore 15 unique planets, each with its own look, feel, and dynamic soundtrack that changes in real time as you explore and make new discoveries!

Who forgot to connect that cable? Who mounted the thruster backward? Who forgot the solar panels? Or the door-opening button? Is the radar working? How about the batteries? Enjoy the hilarious chaos in co-op multiplayer with up to 4 players — and find out once and for all... WHOSE FAULT WAS IT?!

You start on Earth and slowly explore a system of 15 planets, each with its own size, gravity, atmosphere, temperature, and challenges that make every world feel different. Most planets have one or more Planet Stations, which work as checkpoints and garages where you can build ships and start new missions. When you land on a station, it unlocks permanently and becomes a new place you can launch from. To reach these planets, you build your own modular spaceships and experiment with different parts - electric engines, fuel engines, mixed fuels, solar panels, heat-resistant frames, and more. By completing missions like delivering components between planets, you earn new ship parts that let you create better and more advanced designs. All flights are fully first-person from inside your craft, and because distances are huge, your ship design really matters - some trips will take only minutes, while others can turn into long journeys if your ship is weak. The whole game is about exploring planets, upgrading your ships, unlocking new stations, and trying to make it to your destination without crashing.

good
So far, this has been my personal Game of the Year. I'm a massive sucker for space sandbox games where you build your own ships, but this is my personal favorite-- even surpassing KSP. I put roughly 100 hours into the demo and I got ADDICTED to it. Weight management, optimal visibility, power management, aerodynamic optimization, MANUAL WIRING! I love all of it. It is such a good game to get your brain going with problem solving skills. While it can be a very time consuming and require patience, especially when building a ship, testing it, and flying to other planets (trust me, that can take a long time), it is a lot of fun. There is something satisfying about completing a heavy mission with a ship YOU built. Now, I haven't experienced the full game with friends, but when it came to the demo, it was very nice. When you split certain controls and tasks to others, it can make a flight much less stressful. Although, it can also get annoying if you get paired with that one friend who won't stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the airlock. Regardless, when you inevitably crash with the same force that killed the dinosaurs, you are bound to get a really good laugh. This game is not meant to be quick and easy. It requires patience, dedication, and the capacity to learn from your (sometimes stupid) mistakes. 10/10 - Amazing game. ALSO! If you have friends who are not into building games like this or don't have the time for them, then do what I do: build an entire ship yourself then get your crew on for when you all have decided to fly it/do a mission.

Wonderful game.
Played about 100hrs in demo. The demo was phenomenal and we experienced zero bugs. We were expecting the demo + missions, but this full release has us floored. So many QoL updates we didn't expect, or didn't think we even needed. A ton of new content and building potential. This is very easily one of my top 5 favorite games of all time. Highly recommend to everyone. I don't review games often, but I need to see this page say "Overwhelmingly positive" and push it up the steam charts, this dev deserves it!
amazing!
пока все отлично кроме 90 градусов на процессоре...
This game really scratches my itch! I've played the demo for over 30 hours and the full game lives up to the expectations. It's not for everyone but if you like physics based building with lots of trial and error, circuits and trying to make things work out, you'll have a blast! Great gameplay loop and nice graphics that don't draw too much attention. Would definitely recommend!
!!!
Love this game and the demo, but as a word of warning, it can be difficult to get into. The game could certainly use more "helping a new player" along types of things. Tooltips, in-game links to in-game descriptions, tutorials, etc. More QoL things would also be appreciated for more experienced players, such as a pipette tool in build mode. The game feels a little laggy sometimes too.
