About
Approximately Up is your best chance to experience spaceflight in whatever you and your crew (singleplayer or co-op multiplayer with up to 4 players) can bolt together! Build epic spaceships or barely flying trashcans — it’s entirely up to you. Control your creation from a first-person view right from the deck of your ship. Complete challenging objectives, hunt achievements, face the dangers of space, and collect new components to expand your current spacecraft — or build hundreds of new ones. One is never enough!
Everything begins with a single piece of frame and grows into a massive, complex ship built from thousands of components. Create automated systems, experiment with different input controllers, sensors, and meters — connect them to whatever you need, and let the magic (or chaos) happen! Once it looks ready (or not), hit launch and see what happens!

Experimental power sources that need to be delivered to a station on another planet — causing unexpected power outages mid-flight? Some strange energy crystal charging up like a ticking time bomb? Or maybe it’s just a massive, ridiculously heavy submarine this time? Can your spaceship handle that?

Is the planet covered in oceans? What’s hiding beneath that thick atmosphere? Can you see the surface through those massive clouds? Everything’s waiting for you to find out! Explore 15 unique planets, each with its own look, feel, and dynamic soundtrack that changes in real time as you explore and make new discoveries!

Who forgot to connect that cable? Who mounted the thruster backward? Who forgot the solar panels? Or the door-opening button? Is the radar working? How about the batteries? Enjoy the hilarious chaos in co-op multiplayer with up to 4 players — and find out once and for all... WHOSE FAULT WAS IT?!

You start on Earth and slowly explore a system of 15 planets, each with its own size, gravity, atmosphere, temperature, and challenges that make every world feel different. Most planets have one or more Planet Stations, which work as checkpoints and garages where you can build ships and start new missions. When you land on a station, it unlocks permanently and becomes a new place you can launch from. To reach these planets, you build your own modular spaceships and experiment with different parts - electric engines, fuel engines, mixed fuels, solar panels, heat-resistant frames, and more. By completing missions like delivering components between planets, you earn new ship parts that let you create better and more advanced designs. All flights are fully first-person from inside your craft, and because distances are huge, your ship design really matters - some trips will take only minutes, while others can turn into long journeys if your ship is weak. The whole game is about exploring planets, upgrading your ships, unlocking new stations, and trying to make it to your destination without crashing.

UNDO FUNCTION PLS UNDO FUNCTION PLS UNDO FUNCTION PLS UNDO FUNCTION PLS
As someone with thousands of hours in Kerbal, hundreds in Space engineers, and much more, the concept sounds amazing. And in truth it very well could be. Unfortunately what it is missing is a way to get you there. The game has a decent beginning to a tutorial, having you do a few repairs to a damaged ship and then learning to fly it. But after you get to where it tells you that ends. It tells you to 'build a ship' and start doing missions and that's it. Following up the initial tutorial with a 'building your 1st ship' one would make all of the difference. Give a wireframe outline of a ship, start you off building the frame, then walk you through each of the components you need to add to make it functional. Have it go step by step building it up until you're ready to fly. Then after that have an additional section mentioning advanced components that may not be necessary for flight, but that later missions may require, and the basics of how to access them (That can be referred back to later when you get to these components in the game) I have little doubt the game would live up to the hype if it taught me how to build a ship. I just don't have the mental bandwidth anymore to figure it out on my own.

No speed limit, newtonian physics, sensible buildiing constrains and the scale that at the same time makes the system appropirately huge but still detailed. Have only explored the first 3 orbital bodies ao far, fiddling with the builds is just too tempting. Hoping for joystick support in the future, the bind system is a wonderful solution, would be even better if it'd work with axis input aswell.

Se você gosta de se sentir burro por horas e por minutos se sentir muito muito inteligente e realizado, esse jogo é pra você. Uma das coisas mais incríveis com a qual me deparei na vida.
this is a great game. the progression is rewarding, it's really fun, it has that "i'll just do this one more thing oh my god it's 6am" thing going for it, it has coop. pretty minor complaints: there's not much to do in the coop outside of building the ship together. one person flies and everybody else kind of chills, but even the flying isn't that involved. but it's good for just chilling and shooting the ♥♥♥♥ while you float through space, and the building is a bit more involved. putting together some stuff can turn into a very confusing puzzle if you aren't building a flying brick. building something sleek and aerodynamic is exponentially more of a time sink.
good
Assemble a custom spaceship with the tools provided (solo or with friends). Lots of possibilities... then fly it and complete objectives in a Newtonian sandbox, rewarding you with better tech as you progress. Lots to appreciate, especially the no frills gameplay loop. Been having fun playing solo, and looking forward to playing with friends. Really want to see this game develop further. 9/10
