I played this like 5 years ago for a few hours and got a bit annoyed by the crashes, mostly forgot about it, tried playing it again and got annoyed by the crashes, tried tweaking some graphics settings, and got annoyed by the crashes.
"Gameplay" consists of mostly just walking around an empty map with nothing interesting to do nor to look at. Skip this one.
Aporia: Beyond the Valley is a first-person exploration and puzzle game set in a strange, ancient world filled with ruins, mechanisms, and unanswered questions. The story is deliberately vague, letting the world and its puzzles do most of the talking. Of course I loved it — I’m a total sucker for puzzle games and mind twisters. The environments are beautiful and mysterious, the puzzles are satisfying without being hand-holdy, and there’s a strong sense of discovery throughout. It’s calm, thoughtful, and rewarding, especially if you enjoy games that make you think and let you piece things together at your own pace.

Good exploration / puzzle game. Interesting and well-explained story with an ancient Egyptian vibe. Some ideas here I haven't seen elsewhere. The game explains itself well, that you need to see the end of the game to fully understand. A dark game, literally and in lore. Not actual horror, but very creepy. In two small sections of the game you get chased by bad things and have to figure out how to deal with it. Apart from that, you have endless time to explore. Very minor platforming in a few sections. Pros: Most of the puzzles are good and fun. Written for old machines so good framerate. No crashes or serious bugs. Cons: Annoying bad guys in a couple of short points.
Surprising
It started out fun but I was quickly lost and stuggled without any guidance, not even a "you are here" dot on the map. Could be interesting if I had more perseverance.
Walk around and drink simulator. Turns my computer into a jet engine.
