Aphantasia

While I'm only an hour in, I've loved the style of the game. The artstyle feels unique and there is quite a lot of character depth. Will give a longer review once I've played more, would encourage anyone to check this little game out!

Aphantasia is an upcoming surreal indie RPG that follows Roudert on a bizarre quest across the island of Mollagit to rescue a character known as The Mouse. The game leans heavily into strange humour and odd character personalities. Upon playing through this wonderful story, I have nothing buy praise for its ability to engage the player within its unique and whacky story. Aphantasia is a quirky, low-cost indie project with unique charm, best suited for players who enjoy unconventional, surreal adventures and don’t mind narrative or stylistic roughness. I have just finished act 3 and this game has grown on me a lot. It's not perfect, and the average person won't understand/enjoy it. But There's something about this game where you can tell the creator put care into it's world and characters. I don't know what their art style is but I would love to see more similar games. If your looking for a triple a rpg, this isn't it, but it is something special for sure. It's also difficult in places, which you don't see in modern rpgs like this. Also the ost is great please release it on any streaming platforms :)

Started playing this game a couple days ago, haven't really been able to stop! The battling with many different characters really compliments the storyline and roleplay, it is challenging but still easy to follow, extremely fun to play and I found the dialogue of each character funny and meaningful. I highly recommend Aphantasia to current RP players, or any new gamer interested in story-based roleplay games. Onwards and upwards, Paradusolet! 5 stars.
