Antiprism brings classic shoot 'em up mechanics to VR and combines them with innovative single-player twin-ship gameplay. Control two ships at once as the pilots Jexen and Malik shoot hordes of enemies, dodge enemy fire, find and upgrade items, and beat hard bosses on their journey through The Gone.

It's a decent 6.5/10 type of game, but it wouldn't take that much more effort to get it to the 7.5-8 territory it really ought to be in. Even though it's not in early access, I'm really hoping they continue to develop it a bit more, maybe take a look at Hatchick and see how much moving around a game like that requires with faster projectiles. It's hard to really get the blood pumping with how slow things can be. I'm not super far in, but I have concerns it doesn't ramp up to the level I was hoping. I'll edit this if it does get there.
I refunded the game because it completely misses the concept and then has a campaign mode that was clearly thrown in as an after thought without any substance whatsoever. The ships should be held virtually in hand. They are not. Instead you are essentially remotely controlling ships that are in easy reach of your hands. The shields on the ships then obscure the ships to the point that it seems more like shooting a couple of guns than controlling a couple of ships. I think the developer set up the game with a third person camera aimed at ships rather than a VR First Person camera that over-looked the ships. The mechanics and gameplay are frankly awful. There is nothing intelligent about the aiming. The player has to compensate but it's not possible to skillfully lead a target that never travels in a straight line. The targets have to be spammed to eventually be hit. This is not skillful and not fun. The targets move seemingly completely randomly. There is nothing suggesting AI or even deliberately programmed patterns. On this note there are very very few targets. If it were possible to hit them based on skill then it would likely be extremely obvious that there wasn't anything to this game. The enemy bullets do travel in a straight line. They are easy to dodge and only a high volume of them and the need to focus on other objects causes them to be any sort of challenge at all. So while you cannot skillfully aim at a target, once the enemy sprays a pattern of bullets there is plenty of time to get out of the way the majority of the time. And then the music selection is terrible. It's slow and seems like it should be for an elevator simulator not a VR bullet hell. Finally the campaign is tossed in without any meat or real plot whatsoever. It strikes me as an attempt to try to stretch a failed project into the illusion of a game. I hate to be so negative, but it's necessary. I think there are some positive reviews as well. If you are interested in this game be sure to weigh out their comments too, but I just can't imagine how someone could be interested in this concept and happy with this game at the same time.

打發時間的小品遊戲. 坐在椅子上就可以玩了. 真要說缺點的話就. 手舉太久,很酸,比玩beat saber還酸得多...XD
Fun VR shooter where your hands are flying death machines that deal out blinding RGB light shows with the press of a button. Awesome. Has a cool upgrade system that's similar to No Mans Sky's with Missiles, Lasers, Cannons and more. Also it's still in early access and has seen regular updates since launch. They also have a discord where they post often. Good stuff
I love the idea of this game, and I think with some additional development it could be something really special, but I can't recommend it in its current state/price at all. Reasons: 1) Lots of bugs, but major and minor. Some minor ones I ran into are I upgraded my engine/energy generator and this caused my missile launcher to be able to fire 1 volley then become disabled for the rest of the round. This happened 3-4 times, consistently. Upgrading the energy generator fixed it. Among the more major bugs, some missions just stop spawning enemies, and the only option is to exit and try again. The worst bug is survival mode routinely crashes the game. Another minor bug is progress is routinely forgotten. I'll finish a chapter, do all the mission in it, then come back to the game and all of the mission are now marked as incomplete except for the final one that allowed me to go to the next chapter. Just a lot of bugs all around, in my 1.6 hours of playtime I ran into at least a dozen bugs. 2) Price/content. If the bugs were fixed, for the amount of content and polish here I'd say $10 is at the high end here for what this game offers in comparison to what other similarly priced VR titles offer. Even then, I'd be a maybe. If the bugs were fixed, the game has maybe 2-3 hours of content in campaign. Can't really speak on survival mode, since its too buggy to play. 3) Misc: some misc. things like playing through the campaign, once you get missiles the other stuff is mostly useless. For a number of weapons, not being able to hold down trigger to fire (at least at maximum efficiency) is tiring and uncomfortable. Having the ships be so far away from your hands also isn't good, the ships should be placed where my hands are, not 2-3 feet in front of them. Overall, I'd love to see this game get some polishing, iron out those bugs, do a balance pass, add a bit more additional content, etc. But currently, would certainly not recommend in the current state.
Kept crashing on loading any level/mode
Not a bad game, but has been abandoned with bugs that were reported years ago. Particularly, if using missile launcher in chapter 4, you will be unable to continue. Also, it's seems to give me a bit if eye strain, possibly due to the backgrounds being a texture instead of real 3D. On the plus side, it has a decent size campaign, which is often missing from VR games.
Lire l'avis plus bas de FastLawyer qui dit tout ce que je pense.. Mal fait, pas amusant, très bof. Autant jouer à celui dans The Lab, beaucoup plus sympa. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- exactly the same thoughts and analysis of FastLawyer... Uninstalling, don't waste your time and prefer the one in The Lab, more fun.
Wow, what a unique and innovative VR game! The control scheme is quite original, with an interesting way of controlling a space SHMUP game in VR using each hand to control a separate ship. It's been very fun and addictive for me so far, with a good upgrade system and replayable missions to keep me invested and engaged.
Zero fun indeed. $18 game that feels more like a cheap prototype.
