Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The 2013 game that started it all for indie studio Analgesic Productions!
Some players say this reminds them of Link's Awakening or Yume Nikki.
Note on pricing difference vs consoles: the Steam version grants access to both the Anodyne Remastered and Classic Anodyne. Thus, the price of the Steam version was updated to reflect inflation and current pricing standards. The console version currently does not (as of 2025) have Anodyne Remastered.
Content Warnings (Light spoilers)
Low-res pixel art (like in the style of the screenshots of): Suicide by hanging, mild horror, murder by blunt objects, dead bodies, stabbing, blood stains, mentions of sex, unexpected killing of an NPC. Rare strong language. Note this isn't representative of the majority of the game, but it is unavoidable.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

An otherworldy experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the unique mood this game creates. It often left me in a contemplative headspace. The gameplay was also quite nice, albeit a bit straightforward for this style of game. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the obtuse post-game collect-a-thon.
This game is fun and pretty difficult but it has one big issue that even strays me away from buying the sequel. About halfway through the game you realize that the entire game is collecting cards and if you get so many cards per area, you unlock the next area. I was watching a developer playthrough of this because I was stuck on getting a card and he purposely showed off an exploit he left in the game that makes it so you skip past the entire game.... Bro :-( After learning I could have just skipped the entire hotel sequence I damn nearly lost my mind and stopped playing this for a loooooooooooong time The hotel is the hardest part in the entire game up until where I stopped and the boss battle is frustrating as all Hell So, after I found out I could just skip the hotel, I wanted to rip my hair out.

A fun shorter Zelda like with a focus on exploration and discovery. You won't be collecting many items on your quest, but you will be learning how to do more with the ones you already have in fun yet simple ways. The variety in it's environments is a particular treat, as each one is absolutely dripping with unique atmosphere. The whole game game is very dream like and ethereal, leaving much up to interpretation. If you don't enjoy the act of interpretation the story of this game may not be for you (though I still think the gameplay stands as good on its own), but if you do find meaning in searching for questions in the cracks between then you will be richly rewarded.
Доволі непогана гра і точно варта своїх грошей. Плюсом і мінусом одночасно є наркоманський сюжет і те,що в цій грі нічого не зрозуміло,вприеципі як і в 2 частині. Однозначно рекомендую
zelda & chill
Great game and soundtrack.
it took me a good while to finally get to playing this game, and i can safely say that im not disappointed. i first stumbled upon anodyne in this melancholic ost mix of similar stylized games (omori, eastward, yume nikki, etc.), so i had a feeling of what to expect before i started playing. and for the most part, my expectations were met. but each time i got further into the game, i was continuously taken aback by the sincerity in some of the dialogue. while the overall vibe of the game can feel stifling, confusing, and even sometimes hostile (♥♥♥♥ you rock i do have friends), the transitory moments that allow you to sit back and gaze at the beautiful pixel environments, accompanied by solemn and comforting tunes… it really made the journey through this strange and fragmented world all the more special and personal. thank you. part of me wishes i played this sooner but im glad i did at all.
also, the post game secret hunting was pretty enjoyable. love when a game lets me go out of bounds hells yeah!!!!
I didn't enjoy the dungeons I played through in this game. It is heavily inspired by older Zelda games but I found the graphics and gameplay to feel outdated and mediocre.
charming zeldalike that scratches the itch without the slog
