Umm, where have you been, how am I just now finding this. It's if planet side 3 was made but more intuitive and very fun to play. Hidden Gem Alert. Feels like old school but smooth like new school. Launch it in direct x 11 if you have new hardware. It look like a different game in that scenario.

This may suffer in the graphics compared to games made on newer engines or titles, but honestly I'm really happy with the trade off of ultimate pretty graphics for just the sheer volume of content/gameplay. It also keeps the player base accessible to those who aren't able to upgrade their PCs to next gen graphics. This game feels like a culmination of other games that bring a happy nostalgic feeling but I can't even begin to group them, gameplay/gamemodes maybe what battlefront 2 (2017) should have been, or even the battlefront 2 legacy remake (2022?), with the graphics of battlefield 2142, but the gunplay seems very well balanced, not too arcadey like CoD, not too mil-sim like Arma, most friendly community ive ever seen, the list goes on... This game brings me back to a time in gaming when pride in the actual product and care of development was put first, before shareholders profits or streamer/pro-gamer metas. I mean hell, it's $18 at the time of writing and recently launched 1.0 and it has offline lobbies, rich multiplayer modes, decent AI and settings for SP/MP fillers, a quick play feature, AND A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WORKING SERVER BROWSER. I can't remember the last time I found a game, even by triple A studios, that had all those features at launch. So far my only 2 mild complaints are these: (informative and light hearted) 1. If you change audio sources (say tv to headphones or soundbar) while the game is launched, you gotta restart the game for the audio engine to pick up the change. I imagine this is a game engine limitation, so its just more a mild annoyance than anything game breaking given the fast load times, quick play, and server browser. :p 2. There's no bundle option on the store for gifting like a pack of keys like some games do, I'd gladly buy 2 or even 4 game bundles to gift across friends ;)
feels like planetside 2 battlefront and halo3 had a baby. Fun, could use some ui work and the ships are a wee bit awkward to control. mostly got it bc my wifi is iffy and the bot support is great
ITS GOOOOOOOODDDDD
A refreshingly old school game, with influences from starwars battlefront, battlefield and planetside. Incredible amounts of customisation available, the bots are pretty good and allow for offline singleplayer modes when you fancy a quick game without any faff. Both infantry/vehicle and space combat is available. AND it's only £13.37... Honestly for the price alone you're already getting more of a game than most "AAA" releases going into their first year of updates. If there are any obvious pitfalls with the game, it's overshadowed by the lenient price for what you get.
Great game for any original Battlefront 2 enjoyers. Deserves more players than it has, but the bots are good enough.
This game is like Battlefront 2 (2005) meets Battlefield 3 meets Halo3/Reach. If you want to just play some bots with friends in big team battles, this is a great game for that. It runs good and is polished - it probably fulfills the vision the developers had intended. If you want to split hairs about specs and PvP balancing and whatever else, just go play something else.
Não gostei do jogo. Gráficos ok, jogabilidade é travada, não é tão fluída.
i wanted 2142 but larger scaled. Instead i got 1 map per game and lame AI
