Ammo Bounce

This game is in a weird spot. It's fun, no doubt, but I'd actually purchased it before under a different name. Then the game rebranded with a new title and theme. So, I had to buy it again. It's strange, but okay.

Ammo Bounce ist für mich leider nicht mehr als ein schwacher Arkanoid-Abklatsch. Die Grafik ist extrem simpel, die Ball-Physik fühlt sich unpassend und inkonsistent an, und die träge Paddle-Steuerung nimmt einem schon nach wenigen Minuten den Spielspaß. Gerade bei einem Spiel dieses Genres erwartet man Präzision und Tempo – beides fehlt hier. Insgesamt wirkt das Spiel eher unfertig als motivierend.

The music is decent for the urgency of this and feels like you are in a castle or sorts. Enemy deaths all had the same hit noise for the 3 enemies I saw. Game play is what you expect. The enemies that you hit are treated like the rectangular blocks and is hard to know direction because the angles shown on the creature have no effect on the angle the saw goes. Spaces where you think the blade might go through are hard to tell.

This game is Arcanoid genre, just like games I've played before. I like arcanoid, so I can say this game is very well done for it's style. It doesn't feel like a very chip game, something like "not bad". Monsters are not ships or blocks, but bats and other types of monsters, which we've seen before in indie games, like roguelike genres. For this cost this is a good choice, if you wanna try something not really new, but basic and old good type Arcanoid genre game.

A fast and flashy arcade rush. Sending the spinning saw flying around the neon arena feels great, and the mix of enemies and power-ups keeps every round lively and fun.

Ammo Bounce is an exhilarating twist on the classic brick breaker genre, taking the action to a whole new level with its neon-infused visuals and high-octane gameplay. Forget about the traditional ball — this time, you're wielding a deadly spinning buzzsaw that tears through everything in its path. The fast-paced combat and intense destruction are incredibly satisfying as you guide your saw with precision, bouncing it off walls to obliterate enemies and obstacles.

The game is great - please add achievements. It needs more levels, effects, and more challenging tasks.
