For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game play, great story, atmosphere, graphic and sound etc.
Great remake of the 1999 original. The graphics are stunning and the developers have a added a lot of additional background content which can be explored during the course of the story.
Amerzone: The Explorer’s Legacy is a beautifully reimagined adventure game that breathes new life into one of Benoît Sokal’s earliest and most influential works. Developed by Microids Studio Paris and published by Microids, the game follows the journey of a journalist who accepts a dying explorer’s final request: return a precious egg belonging to the mythical Great White Birds to the remote and mysterious land of Amerzone. What begins as a simple assignment gradually unfolds into a captivating expedition filled with forgotten histories, political intrigue, environmental themes, and personal redemption. The game’s greatest strength lies in its atmosphere. Amerzone is presented as an exotic and isolated region that feels both enchanting and tragic. Every location tells a story through its architecture, landscapes, and remnants of past events. Players travel through abandoned outposts, dense wilderness, rivers, and forgotten settlements, all of which contribute to a strong sense of discovery. Rather than overwhelming players with constant action, the game encourages observation and curiosity, creating an experience that feels more like an interactive novel or documentary adventure than a traditional video game. Storytelling is handled with remarkable care. The narrative unfolds gradually through journals, letters, conversations, and environmental clues. As players uncover the history of the explorer Alexandre Valembois and his connection to the legendary birds, deeper themes emerge concerning obsession, responsibility, and the consequences of interfering with nature. The writing succeeds because it allows players to piece together events themselves, making each revelation feel meaningful. The journey remains engaging from beginning to end because the mystery surrounding Amerzone and its creatures is constantly evolving. Puzzle-solving plays a central role throughout the adventure. The challenges are integrated naturally into the environments and often require players to examine clues, interpret information, and connect details found during exploration. Most puzzles reward careful thinking rather than trial-and-error experimentation. This design philosophy strengthens immersion because players feel like genuine investigators uncovering secrets rather than simply overcoming arbitrary obstacles. The pacing remains steady, allowing moments of contemplation between important discoveries. A particularly memorable feature is the Hydraflot, a unique vehicle that serves as the player’s primary means of transportation. Capable of traversing multiple environments, it becomes an essential part of the adventure and contributes significantly to the game’s identity. Traveling aboard this machine reinforces the spirit of exploration that defines the entire experience. Each new destination feels like a meaningful step deeper into the mysteries of the world. The visual overhaul is impressive and demonstrates the care invested in modernizing the original game. Detailed environments, realistic lighting, and refined artistic direction bring Amerzone to life while preserving the distinctive style associated with Benoît Sokal’s creations. The world often feels like a living illustration, combining realism with a dreamlike quality that enhances the sense of wonder. The improved graphics help players become fully immersed in the setting without sacrificing the charm that made the original memorable. Sound design further strengthens the atmosphere. Environmental audio, subtle musical themes, and ambient effects work together to create a mood that is both melancholic and adventurous. Quiet moments are given space to resonate, allowing players to absorb the beauty and mystery of their surroundings. The soundtrack rarely demands attention, yet it consistently enhances the emotional impact of important scenes and discoveries. The game is not designed for players seeking fast-paced combat or constant excitement. Its deliberate tempo, emphasis on reading clues, and focus on exploration may feel slow to some audiences. However, those willing to embrace its measured approach will find a thoughtful and rewarding adventure. The game values storytelling, worldbuilding, and immersion above spectacle, which helps it stand out in a market dominated by action-focused releases. Amerzone: The Explorer’s Legacy succeeds as both a respectful revival of a classic adventure and a compelling experience for newcomers. Its rich atmosphere, intelligent puzzles, engaging narrative, and stunning presentation combine to create a memorable journey that remains true to the spirit of exploration. For fans of story-driven adventures and immersive mysteries, it offers an experience that is both relaxing and emotionally satisfying. Rating: 9/10

Tried to play the game a few times, but my motion sickness kicks in every time quite quickly. Pitty that there is such a big amount of scripted wobbly camera movement. It is unplayable for me even after setting the "skip the animations" option. Otherwise I would seriously very much like to recommend the game. Still, I can recommend the original from 1999 - not that kind of shaky movement there, yay!
I love the classic style of this game. I wish they made more like this, the newer games just don't have the same relaxing and common sense puzzles in them.
