In fairness they really seem to have almost tried to make a first person adventure game with GameGuru instead of the usual pointless wave survival kind of FPS. The problem is that where GameGuru is absolutely terrible for making first person shooters, it's worse at making every other type of game. Let's be clear, GameGuru is a completely godawful construction kit. If you try to take it seriously as a game, you'll find no resolution or graphics tweaks, no controller tweaks... it's horribly optimised and will be sluggish even on high end rigs. If you tried to play this (nobody should), you'll find yourself in a GameGuru asset hospital basement and you just sort of walk around badly and.. yeah... look, this is just so bad, please don't buy it. You can make the argument that GameGuru exists to just make demos and little experimental games to pass around with friends, but that's not what's happened here... the developer is seriously trying to scam people into paying money for this construction kit copy+paste asset flip. That's not okay! Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. So, should you buy this GameGuru asset flip? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Alone K.W. is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
