About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Reviews
The gameplay and atmosphere is all there. While they advertised a "better story" , just remember Wey-yu bad , set character voice volume to 0, blast thru all the unneeded dialogue on the ship and get back to blasting bugs.
Highly suggest you play, it is a massive improvement over the 1st, the classes are more finely tuned, rebalanced, and the new specialist operative is highly rewarding if you save it for last, it was something I wished was in the 1st one, the customization in this game is leagues above the OG,

if you liked the first one you'll like this one too. Im looking forward to sinking in a lot of hours on this one too!
its really fun game but its very buggy so hopefully they fix it
They had a baseline to work off of with the first game, and while it had a lot of jank, it had soul. Yet, this game just does not at all meet even this baseline. I will say that the improvements upon the loadout system and allied AI is nice, the gameplay is stiff and unresponsive while the enemy AI barely even functions half the time and the dialogue is absolutely terrible. I am a lifelong fan of the Aliens franchise with dozens of hours in the first game on Xbox, but this. This is just a complete disappointment that saddens my heart.
+Great feel the game feels like your playing in a movie ! +Requires teamwork to not get over run ! + really fun if you have people talking! (Fun even if they dont talk) +Great to run a mission like 20-30 minutes !
This game just stinks. The progression system is cool and the gameplay loop is cool. But the gameplay, the voice acting, the levels... stink. If you don't turn on the damage numbers, you cant tell if youre hitting the enemies.
As much of Alien fanboy that I am, I can't recommend this game yet, not even with 120 hours spent on the original. Getting huge lag spikes that freeze the game for over a minute that kicks out every human player leaving you with synths ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, and it happens too frequently for my taste. Missions, enemies, and story are starting to feel pretty darn similar as the first one. Sure, you get new and improved classes with their corresponding perks, but for 50€ I expect a bit more of innovation, not a rehash of what we alredy got
If you liked the first, you'll like this one. Tighter gunplay and a better customization system than the last one. 15 missions (not 6 - there are 6 chapters) and horde mode after beating campaign. A couple bugs at launch, some weird choices like locking the classic pulse rifle to level 10. Fun for what it is, even more fun with friends.
