About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

TL:DR - If you like the Original Fireteam Elite, you will LOVE the sequel. A lot of improvements, better end game content especially the Horde mode (based on what I from reviewers) and the CooP from 3 to 4 players is way more fun and opens up a lot more team play mechanics. A worthy sequel! As a big fan of the first Fireteam Elite, it definitely captures the feel of the Aliens universe. I rarely write a review of the games I play here on Steam but I went the extra mile to write a review of this game. So here's the PROS and CONS from the short amount of time I played: CONS - Some FPS dips every now and then but I assume that will be patched eventually. I don't have the best and top of the line PC but can definitely push this game to MAX settings - Minor glitches here and there but nothing game breaking, same with the first Fireteam Elite it will eventually get patched - Not the best character creator but I'm not really here for this, though they can do better. Hopefully they improve this on future patches - The bots while way better than the first game's AI bot teammates, still could do better, like probably some option to give them simple commands or something? - A lot do complain about the dialog and I have to agree but the firs one wasn't really great with that either. PROS - You love the first FIRETEAM Elite? You will definitely LOVE this one as it does improve a lot especially on Classes. I also love the 4 man COOP - Xeno's are more "smarter" now as they not just go into straight lines but goes up the ceiling and sideways so the tried and old formula of stand at a corner and blast away will not work everytime - SPECIALIST class is a thumbs up for me so more end game customization - Not a fan at first of the open areas but it does open the game into more "freedom" unlike the previous game's (mostly) linear areas. - From what I see and based on other reviews, this will definitely open up a lot more for the END game content especially the HORDE mode. I'm really looking forward to that as I progress more into the game. Overall its not the polished game that most bad reviews complain about, but the original Fireteam Elite wasn't either. I purchased this full price to show my support to the community as I know the DEVS will eventually refine this into a much more "polished" state. For me, the game is fun especially playing online with others and that's what matters, and I'm really looking forward in sinking more hours especially into Horde mode!
I enjoy this game. It's fun. For the love of ♥♥♥♥, let us leave Horde Mode matches without forfeiting the reward. I'm sick of losing all progress because my braindead team wanted to stay and it forced me to die with their stupid asses.
As much of Alien fanboy that I am, I can't recommend this game yet, not even with 120 hours spent on the original. Getting huge lag spikes that freeze the game for over a minute that kicks out every human player leaving you with synths ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, and it happens too frequently for my taste. Missions, enemies, and story are starting to feel pretty darn similar as the first one. Sure, you get new and improved classes with their corresponding perks, but for 50€ I expect a bit more of innovation, not a rehash of what we alredy got
if you liked the first one you'll like this one too. Im looking forward to sinking in a lot of hours on this one too!
Good stuff, hoping to see more of it in the future! Fantastic quality of life choices vs Fireteam 1.
Solid 9/10.
its really fun game but its very buggy so hopefully they fix it
