About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Overall, I like the game. It plays good. Settings on high/epic. Even on my home-built 5-6 year old PC. For gameplay, it exhibits a challenge for me even on casual. I'm not a huge fan of grinding to the next player level or earning credits to buy attachments or guns but if I like the combat and the IP enough it's doable. I did it with a couple other games where the gameplay made it worth it. Which is a lot for a middle aged blue collar guy with a family and a limited amount of playtime, generally only on the weekends. I purchased the game the day of launch and I've only been able to accumulate about 8+ hours of play so far. For the record: I play solo. This is actually my only frustration with the game: There is no pause and I have to dedicate whatever unknown amount of time it's going to take to complete the mission. My biggest hang-up with this is because as an adult I need to be able to pause and step away for a few minutes. The doorbell rings, the dog threw up, the kids got home from school... sometimes all at once. Honest suggestion for Devs on their next game: If you could figure a way to merge the semi-open world and mission search/completion parts of Aliens: Dark Descent with the third (or first) person combat elements of this, I'm pretty sure you'd have a kick-ass game. That's the type of game I could clear some time during my week-day schedule for. Or here's a thought: call the boys over at Ubisoft and collaborate for Far Cry: LV426 or Far Cry: Aliens. Y'all could make a killing.

Game is good, but not worth $50. If i could give an in between review i would, but overall the game is fun. Maintains the core aspects of the first game, though the story is overall lacking and falls into a lot of cliches. Campaign is about 10 hours long if you really stretch it, has 2 fun factions and then a third more sinister boring as ♥♥♥♥ faction (pathogen). Third act of the story is rushed and boring, even if it retraces a LOT of the same environments of the first game which were fun. Horde mode is better though. Game is good, but not worth $50/
