About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Reviews
This is another reason why I dont trust Triple A or close to it. Indy games have less problems.
Stay away... the game is unstable, the framerates are horrible, the UI is atrocious. Don't bother, at least for now.
I'm a big Aliens Fan so a little bias, but I do love the Load out system and customization options for the abilities and Guns. Can't wait to level up.... let the Grind commence!

This is the kind of game that makes me wish there was some kind of "Neutral" or "Mid" rating rather than just recommend or not. Because this game isn't bad per se, it's certainly not a disaster like say, Colonial Marines (though any game would have to work really hard to be as bad as that one). But it is disappointing. Where the first Fireteam Elite was smaller and clearly had less money thrown at it, it seemed like a labour of lover, the sound design was particularly excellent and it was a very successful take on the Left4Dead formula with the Aliens, this game is indeed bigger and longer, but it falls short on several sides. Here is a list of pros and cons: Pros: - More weapons and some of them are interesting additions rather than cc-ing everything from the first game - Some new interesting aliens variants that really do push you - Gameplay is fundamentally fun and it's just nice to go blasting aliens even if you are repeating the same missions - More customization options for your marine - Works pretty well even on older hardware, I can appreciate not rushing to max out the graphics in this economy Cons: - Sound design is considerably worse, particularly when it comes to weapons and I don't know how they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up so bad from the first game - The writing is atrocious, and I say that knowing what kind of game this is, but wow. There were a number of moments where I was could come up with better lines on the spot, and this is not me bragging, this is just because the writing seems to be ruled by this nonsense where they think we are stupid and so the dialogue has to be extremely rudimentary and basic because I dunno, maybe they think we're always having a second screen or something? It strikes me the same way as some of the TV shows have gone downhill in recent years to acomodate being on a "second screen". Like this is probably my biggest complaint; the writing in the first game was by no means stellar, but it was fun and in the spirit of what you would expect from an Aliens type movie. This is extremely bland and often flat out cringe. There is no other way to put it, when an officer tells me "You pew pewed these aliens like it was nothing", it makes me cringe. Summary: But at full price only if you are a sad Aliens content glutton like me, otherwise wait until it's on sale for less than £10. It will make the inevitable disappointment hurt a lot less. Again, this is not a bad game, and it is a representative of a much less common type of AA game that we don't see often these days, so I don't want to tear it all the way down. But measure your expectations.
Compared to the first Aliens Fireteam, it felt a bit off at first, but I find that that feeling went away after a few hours. It's an absolute blast now. The missions are varied, the equipment is cool, the machinist if more fun than the engineer was. I am really looking forward to trying more classes.
GAME OVER MAN!
Alien: Fireteam Elite 2 now includes a four-player mode that will wreck Xenomorph and cause havoc with weapons and abilities that feel great to play. Highly recommended for a group play with friends. This game has some downsides as well as numerous minor bugs and some issues like the final fight against the Xenomorph queen, where players will not gain experience points, as well as bad dialogue from the marine during campaign mode. With this review, hopefully the game will improve. Game rating: 3.5/5
I Love your game but the entire lobby is Asymmetric.
Another bug hunt. Never disappoints.
It's basically an improved version of the first game. It is still engaging and the gameplay loop is fun, there may only be 15 missions but hopefully they add more and the game isn't abandoned. The price tag on the game however, is a bit steep, I suggest waiting for a sale
