About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

I love the new Xenomorphs that were added, how there is more classes to the game. I enjoy the simple little sprinkles of humour even if some of it is bland. It would make this game 10x more cool if they added the Xenomorph Predator to the game, THAT would be siiiiiiiiiick to see.
The NPC's are a bit too bubbly, but you learn to tone them out. Its got a little ways to go but great addition to the aliens universe.

Aun tiene algunos bugs pero los estan solventando poco a poco si te gusto el 1 el dos es mas de lo mismo pero con mejores graficos.
Great Game! Having a blast and would highly recommend. Just as good if not better than the first.
As a hardcore fan of the original game and its concept, this takes that same formula and merely adds to it in every best way, including ways I didn't even know I wanted. Even without a day/week one patch yet and likely not-even halfway through the story, love the new enemies, new weapons and their mechanics, new classes, and most certainly the overall gameplay mechanics. All in all, I have to rate this extremely high and very positive, 1000/10, and can't wait to see what updates, DLCs, and whatever else gets added to this game in the future. I'd LOVE to see, even as DLC, the Yautja make an appearance for this in some questline or even the Queen Matriarch and or Mother, or even some of the more obscure Xeno Variants. It'd be such great Fan Service and I'd support you guys EVERY step of the way
I was really looking forward to AFTE2 and how did it turn out? In the first AFTE, my big wish was to get to a colony similar to Hadley's Hope and that will come true quickly in the second part. Thank you very much for that! The environments across the missions look very nice overall and have their own atmosphere, there is nothing to criticize about that (from the colony to the engineer ship). You get the characters to max lvl quite quickly, so there is room to adapt them to your style. To be honest, I have only used the Specialist so far to get a character to lvl 10. Nothing forces me to play him yet, because for me the number one characters are the Medic and the Machinist. Moreover, I think there are too many perks and half of them are completely unnecessary. The game works well for me and runs in the same old ways as the first one. But unlike the first game, the story here seems a bit contrived - Alien as a "pet". That's exactly what I found completely stupid in the Alien Earth series. As for the supporting characters and dialogues... I have no problem with the characters, several are from the first part, so we know them. What's worse is the non-stop stupid banter. It would be nice to take a more serious tone during missions. The most irritating thing is to constantly hear everyone calling you "Hotshot". I miss Ssgt. Herrera even more, it was so nicely balanced there. Anyway, despite the above, I enjoy the game and recommend it. I don't have any significant HW problems or bugs (I got locked out of the door once). I hope there will be more expansions. #skipabble cutscenes :-D
Game is glitchy and the dialog is awful. I found the first one charming but this was so cringe and lazy that it pissed me off to see how little they care about the culture this game came from. Its lazy writing bad optimization and stiff non refined movement and combat feels more like a bad dlc to the first game
So, what can I say? I am a Linux gamer, and a friend gifted me this game. Runs right out of the box with Proton, though I had to lower the settings a bit, due to my hardware being almost 10 years old at this point. Only gripe I have is that when I try to replay the prologue mission, the game hangs after the cutscene with Captain Ko. The cutscene will play fine, but then nothing happens. If I reload the mission, it will not remove the loading screen, but I can hear my marine in the background running around, shooting etc. That might be a Linux problem though. Other than that, I love the game. I am a little bit sad that there is literally no variation in the missions or voicelines on replaying them like there was in the first game. In the first, you had different voice lines that could play, ambushes were slightly different and Drone spawns were pretty much randomized. Here? It's all scripted. Each runthrough will be exactly the same as the last, which I don't like. So, while I overall recommend this game, especially if you want a solid game with greatly improved atmosphere, under Linux, I can't recommend it if you want something new. What I am trying to say is: Know what you are in for. The AI of the Bots is improved, and the aliens now dodge. Also, the fog obscures them and they seem faster. Other than that? AI pathing is still not the greatest. Aliens will get stuck and just let you shoot them at times. Just like in the first. Final thoughts: Solid game for the price, with a lot of overhead for improvement.
Not sure how anyone can justify a negative review after less than an hour of gameplay but that's the world we live in, I guess. My advice, if the negative review is less than an hour, ignore it. So, firstly, if you enjoyed the first, you'll enjoy this. Next, even if you didn't play the first, if you like the Alien franchise, odds are, you'll like this. Lastly, if you like extraction shooters with friends, this will be a welcome addition to your collection. Sure there are some bugs that could be worked out but it has just been released, give them a chance for some hotfixes. I, personally have not experienced any that have been mentioned in negative reviews. Simply, moving forward it can only get better. Ok the launch price is a bit steeper than I was expecting but it is what it is. For those of you out there that have the game, remember: "Resupply or die, folks"
