un juego bastante entretenido, y no es caro, para pasar un buen rato y tiene modo cooperativo
Personal Rating: 6/10 Genre: Straightforward Arcade 2D Arena Shooter with Power Ups Take a simple shooter game like Mega Man, place him in a single room with multiple platforms to run on and throw endless waves of enemies at him and you have Alien Zombie Megadeath. Your character can jump, shoot and collect power-ups that enhance your weapons. It has a bit of a bullet hell feeling to it to go along the mindless blasting. There are variations of game types, but they all feature shooting aliens and avoiding their bullets. Good game for when you no want to thinky too much.

Tags: Sidescroll Shooter Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Sidescroll shooter on 5 lanes in which you mop up waves for score. Gets old quick. Formulaeic. Must unlock hard achievements to get more levels. Xbox360pad works out of box. Inuititive and easy to pick up. Multi-lane scoreattack platformer in which you mop up waves. Arcade-like. You jump up and down platforms and shoot at spawning enemies, with the occasional objective of escorting a baby or a bomb to its destination. Levels usually last a few minutes and the difficulty is manageable yet ramps up as you get through levels. Gets formulaeic and repetitive, the quality of the 3D is a tad dubious but the sound design partially makes up for it. It is okay in small burts as a mindless sidescroll shooting collection of arcade-like levels. Collecting achievements in game to unlock more levels is not the best way I like to see progression handled however and the game probably has you reach a skill ceiling and a frustration treschold has well as a grate on your ability to handle repetitive gameplay and recycled assets. Based on 20 minutes of play it might have entertained my a while longer, maybe for an hour or two but I know I would had burnt out on this pretty quickly. The controls work but you cannot shoot diagonal, you must use buttons on opposite ends of the gamepad to shoot in different directions and use the up arrow to jump. It just feels a bit off. The weapon powerups last a ridiculously short amount of time making the risk/reward of trying to dive for them on a crowded platformer not worth it. Especially since most level achievements involve you not getting hit. Conclusion: This is not nearly casual enough to be a nice small bite sized arcade game. It is too chaotic, messy, and easy to miss the progression achievements. It is not hard enough to be a 80ois coin up type game either. It is outclassed by sidescroll shooters with better level design in which you can move through a larger level. (metroidvania or contra style). As such it sits akwardly in between multiple better established ways of doing better sidescroll shooter and falls between the cracks.
I'd put some time into this one before but I decided to fire it up again to see what it was like. I remembered liking it well enough, and I thought I'd see if it was still worth my time. It's a side scrolling arena shooter that kind of reminds me of some old ass arcade game that I don't remember the name of that I only played because it was on some compilation disc (it was called Xenophobe and had the same multi-level structure but honestly wasn't that similar - i looked it up). It's fine. Nothing special, and if I didn't have about a trillion other smaller distractions, I'd be plenty happy playing it a lot more. I'll probably keep it installed for a while and ♥♥♥♥ around with it, but I'm probably ok with the 2 hours total I've logged on it already if I don't ever come back to it. One final note, Dave Mustaine is nowhere to be found in this game.
Why I bought the game: Bundle What I liked about the game: Donkey Kong meets Space Invaders, quick gameplay involving a lot of up and down movement and blasting aliens from the left or right. You get powerups occasionally, the game modes are simple alterations of up down and left right shooting, while sometimes moving things (babies and bombs). I forced myself to play this game because it was on my list, I had fun - but wouldn't go out of my way to buy it, as a bundle game I enjoyed it very much. Would make an awesome quick game to jump on with a controler and kill some time. What I didn't like about the game: Not much to dislike Would I buy at current asking price of 4.99? Nah **Disclaimer** I would like to state all changes made by the developers of the game after this review could potentially make this entire review irrelevant. The current date of review 11/11/14.
Left and Right
Would be a fun game if you could shoot 360º, but shooting only left and right makes it painfully frustrating and even worse, boring. - Very simplistic gameplay, like, lazy, super simplistic, there's nothing to it - You can only shoot left and right - Incredibly repetitive, makes me sleepy - "Not so beautiful" and generic art/style That's it. There is nothing more to it, the only positive is that it works (?) lol Feels like a simple university project xD
Gra-wydmuszka. Żadnej głębi. Żadnej frajdy. Żadnego choć odrobinę fajnego pomysłu... Odinstalowałem z ulgą...
Looking at a printscreen, this could give you shovelware vibes. But it's a good arcade shooter! Enemy spawn can be a little unforgiven, killing you instantly because you were at the wrong place, but it's manageable most of the time!
It's a fun little platform game. If you don't have a controller, I'd honestly just say pass on it (no mouse support of any kind and controls are awkward AF). It's got an interesting style about it. Background music could get grating (or so I can imagine if you play it longer). All in all, not a bad game.
Nothing really wrong with this game, but I just don't really see where it's going. It was fun for a while, but I don't think I can see myself playing it for extended periods of time, especially given the lack of a storyline. Lacks ambition, picks out long, and general fortitude(?)
