Alien Slayers

This has become one of my favourite bullet hell games and I have quite a few. It is difficult when you first start but as you go on, a whole lot of options open up to make things easier. There's missions to complete on harder levels. You can combine different items with each other to make more powerful weapons/items. Achievements get you new characters and items. You can pick up a few different types of drone that help with healing and doing damage, but need to level them up. Overall a very fun game!

It's has its charm, but the cons out-weight the pros for me, so I have to stop playing. The game tries to solve some issues of VS but then forgot about why they had that mechanic and just fell back into yet another survivor clone. For example, killing mobs automatically gives you exp, that's cool! Because it means we don't need to pick up crystals and so the ground is less cluttered, right? Also it'd finally make sense to have quests on the map that we have to keep moving, but as we are moving we can't pick things up, so really, not having to pick up exp crystal solves one of the major problems with having quests on the map! ...Except we still have to pick up crystals, if we want to lvl fast, and we need to, because the weapons are really mediocre in this game, even when you maxed them out. Also there's no good upgrades to your character. All you can do is to upgrade your drones, plus side stuff like reroll numbers or gold/exp bonus. But really that's it. Someone may love this, so they can prove they are hardcore or something, which is an oxymoron because if they want a actually hard game they should be playing sekiro or doom, not this. There are other issues but I don't care enough to list them.

7/10 brings nothing new or unique to the survivors like genre, but it solid game with plenty to unlock at a very reasonable price.

this game is probably the closest to vampire survivors, but thats no negative, as long as the game do as well as the OG. some parts its doing even better, i like the little drones you can have, the meta progression is nice also. enough content for 20h atm. thumbs up!

Pretty fantastic game. Lots of content in the way of upgrades and various protagonists to unlock that will keep you playing one more time to see if you can beat your last run. Progression is well paced in my opinion. There's a ton of value here for the price. Highly recommended if you like Roguelike games like Vampire Survivors.
