NO CLASSES, NO RESTRICTIONS
In Albion Online's classless combat system, you are what you wear. The weapons and armor you use define your skills, and switching playstyles is as easy as switching gear. Test out new equipment anytime and change up your weapons, armor, and mounts to suit any situation. Hone your character’s skills by crafting new items, or by simply using your favorite equipment.

PREPARE TO FIGHT
From solo to small-group to large-scale battles, you'll need strategy, tactics, and skill to prevail. Test yourself against other adventurers in high-risk, high-reward full-loot fights. Level your combat specializations, create unique builds with complementary skills, and use every tool at your disposal to emerge victorious.

CONQUER THE WORLD
Join a guild and carve out your own piece of Albion in massive open-world battles. Claim territories for access to incredible resources, construct guild halls, and build a Hideout to give your guild a powerful home base deep in dangerous lands. Lead your guild to victory in the Crystal League, and track your progress against other guilds worldwide on a constantly-updated seasonal leaderboard.

PUT DOWN ROOTS
Claim a city plot or private island and make it your own. Grow crops to sell or craft into food, raise your own livestock and mounts, and place crafting stations for other players to use for a fee. Stock your house with custom furniture and trophies, build chests to store your growing collection of loot, and hire laborers to keep everything at your homestead running smoothly.

FACE DEADLY FOES
From small scouting bands to massive bosses, from dungeons to full-blown faction bases, the inhabitants of Albion’s open world await your challenge. Take on six different factions, each with different enemies that require unique strategies. Partake in solo or group Expeditions, or seek out the ultimate thrill by facing demons and other players alike in Hellgates and Corrupted Dungeons.

EXPLORE A VAST WORLD
Explore five vivid biomes, each with its own challenges. Gather raw materials for crafting, or cast a line into Albion's lakes and oceans to catch fish. Seek out randomly generated solo and group dungeons and slay powerful foes for valuable loot. Enter the mystical Roads of Avalon to discover ever-changing paths between distant zones, face off against long-dormant foes, and build your own Hideout in this vast and ancient land.

after getting 691 hrs on this game and trying my hardest to gaslight myself into liking it (it has all the elements of an open world MMO that I love) ... it's just not fun, the main problem is that the game caters mainly to groups, all the good content is group content. But the overarching problem is that the game feels both boring and like its constantly against you(especially if you're a solo player), and of course there's the VERY OBVIOUS catering to whales. overall you might like this game when you first pick it up, but over time the enchantment wears off and you realise you're spending hours on a grind you don't enjoy, and your end goal is pretty useless as anyone with large amounts of disposable money could overtake you easily, so what reason is left to play for? none.

Full of bullies and racists. Mods do nothing about it. Full of toxic people that bullie weaker players. Low level players are followed by the high level players constantly attacking and harassing them. Game states that if you are in peacefully mode you CANNOT be attacked however this is false. Any player can attack you if they wish to even if you select the option for NO PVP. This is the way the devs can force you to pay to advance. Also you can not collect rewards that you have earned unless you pay for premium even though it dose not state this when you do the task to win the reward. You spend hours collecting tasks only to be told you MUST pay for premium if you want to collect your rewards. Basically this game is by far the worst pay to win game I have ever played. Greedy devs and lay about lazy moderators that allow bullying and racists moments in the chat. For a game that has children playing it is very relaxed about bullying. People also get personal info revealed in the chat if you dare call out the mods in chat. Nothing about this game is secure and I'm shocked that steam and Google play allow this game to be in their systems. If you care about personal info or have any decency then find a different game to play.

Here i leave my review, with some game history and why i dont think you should play long term. I play this game since 2021, the gameplay is good, amazing concept and idea, be what you wear, define your own build (a buils is a set of abilities and gear designed for use in some activity or content), play solo or group...until it all breaks down. My goal was always simple, be someone playing with a small group of friends, i do main pvp but i LOVE being able to also craft and make myself a merchant, so like playing both sides of the coin, yk? Unfortunately, ever since this game was sold to a new studio, after 2023, the devs began making changes to the game which would destroy its essence of why it became popular: 1: Split servers, this seems good, people wont have high ping on NA servers..UNTIL you realise the original worldbuilding of the game and dev team explicitely stated that its a one server game, they did it anyways....why? Profit, people buy early entry tickets, and whales hop on new servers...good for everyone except the players who now have split communities and way less people on each server. 2: Abandoning/undercutting solo/small content, precisely is the main reason why the game is dying, most good content or overtime reliable is locked behind playing with big top guilds, this is my reason to also quit, besides the economy, which i will discuss right after this. The devs sometimes look like they dont care, and ignore the solo or small group player, any big guild doing anything wipes everyone else down, and to make this really even better, they completely gutted loot from dungeons and smaller dungeons...sure, they 100% arent targetting small groups, right...? 3: The ignorance of the economy, the devs allow people to invite others to gain cosmetics...alright....and they can also trade them on the market for silver...alright! Now...did you know people mass use bots to abuse this, flood the market and raise prices, while decreasing the value of silver overall? Amazing right? And guess what, they dont care either, they brag about how they are happy about their "new players" (the solution here is to simply make such cosmetics untradeable) 4: Whales...market algorithms, billionaires and silver trillionaires have bots and analysis tools to flood the market with cheap ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and products, since they have premium, anyone else who doesnt have it and tries to craft or do some activity is ratted out due to competition...like walmart wipes out local stores and then raises prices....yeah, forget being a merchant or crafter if you dont have premium. Those are my main game problems, the obvious solution: (1) A wipe to the entire economy and xp of players, since most of the issues are accumulated due to purchase of cosmetics and whale/bot, and (2), reuniting the servers, am EU and i would 100% return to the game if they wiped the economy and made only one NA server exist, until then, stay out of this game, its not what you really see on the ads it is... (of course the first solution includes untradeability of cosmetics). To finish it (3), improve loot and experience on smaller dungeon and smaller player content, alongside loot. It used to be like on the ads, dont get me wrong!! Its just that management really ruined it. (I WILL REMOVE THIS REVIEW IF ANY OF THE SOLUTIONS ARE IMPLEMENTED, they wont cuz it doesnt bring them money lmaooo) EDIT: The way the market take critique works is because buying cosmetics or getting from referals, this is entirely new money into the system that never came from anywhere (real life), and upon converting to gold, long term inflates prices, since silver is destroyed ingame (death of players, etc), but gold CANNOT be destroyed.
The solo player experience in Albion Online is one of the worst I've ever experienced. The game is really fun at first, but once you get deeper into it, you quickly realize that most of the meaningful content is designed for groups and guilds. The game offers solo content, but it is an illusion than a real alternative. I also find the islands and Premium system misleading. Without Premium, farming on your island can easily become a waste of time and money (milions). The game encourages you to buy an island and then pushes you towards Premium to make it worthwhile. I've done 50+ solo dungeons of decent tier and quality, and the loot was honestly terrible. The time spent doing them (days) was barely worth it. A few hours of fishing could give me more than double the profit. And if fishing is one of the most consistent ways to make money as a solo player, then something feels wrong. I actually like the difficulty of the game. The Black Zone is dangerous, and losing everything when you die makes it intense. That's not my problem. The problem is that, as a solo player, you spend too much time struggling for too little reward. If you have friends or join a guild, I'm sure Albion can be a great game. But if you want to play mostly solo, run from here. I had more frustration than fun playing solo. I don't consider Albion pay-to-win, but Premium gives you a huge advantage in progression, and the way the game is structured makes it feel almost necessary if you want to progress efficiently. Great potential for solo players, but for me, the solo experience is simply not good at all
Too many liberals. The mods are douchebags who will threaten you if you don't fit in with their ideology. Killed any semblance of enjoyment in the game for me.
el mejor juego de todos los tiempos
Okay, I love this game, it's simple and fun. But from the moment I started playing, these trash devs have kept nerfing everything related to solo play into the ground. There is no point of playing solo, if everything from fames to loots are trash. Every patch update is nerf, nerf, nerf. If there were a tier list for trash developers, SBI would be at the very top. That's just how trash they are. All they think about is money. This game is dying and i hope it dies sooner. They deserves it.
it has everything i like in a mmo rpg game but the main issue is i cant enjoy it as a solo player, solo contents are broken, and everyone knows, like solo dungeons are absolute trash, no fame, no gold, this game has a very poor design for solo player, solo leveling is a pain, i wish devs would even care about solo players to make some fun content, or at least let the current content pay off.. i don't understand why they are making the game painful for solo players, like.. solo dungeons weren't so broken at first, why they turned it to trash? im just disappointed
not f2p friendly, solo or/and pve are abandoned. ALMOST EVERYTHING its pvp bs
