Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Ages of Cataria is a cozy story generation game. Every story begins with a family embarking and then settling on a new land called "Cataria". Here, the villagers will have to build out their comforts and find their roles in this new society.
Over time, others will join your settlement, and some will find love and start new families around town. Experience these generational stories as your villagers age over time.

Villagers will age before your eyes. In their lifetimes, they will leave a lasting mark on the village by forming meaningful relationships, experiencing life-changing events, and contributing their unique skills. See their children grow and leave their own unique mark on the town.
Build out your town, fulfilling your town’s needs for shelter, food, and resources. As your town grows, so will its desires. Decorate your town to enhance its appearance, and villagers may start to take notice as well.

Every so often, villagers will encounter events around the village. These will pop up around the map and happen randomly, giving the villager a chance to experience a unique event. These events can be as small as finding a unique insect and as impactful as marriage.
Death is part of telling a generational story. Everyone’s story eventually ends, and in Cataria, that is no different. Once a villager passes, their spirit will enter your town's spirit tree, which will grow with your town as more spirits pass away. This provides your villagers with a place to gather, remember their ancestors, and offer gifts to the afterlife.

I love a good cozy game to wind down with at the end of the day, and so far this is scratching that itch. Being able to play as a whole family unit really adds to the experience and makes it feel more meaningful. Love the art, music, & overall vibes. It also seems like the devs are already aware of a few bugs & I've already seen a few updates go out, so I have a lot of hope for the final release!
There's a lot of potential in this, but right now there's not enough to do and I can't justify recommending you spend money on it just yet. Once the tutorial portion ends, you just sit around and wait for things to happen. I'm not actually managing anything, just letting the game run and waiting for events or more people. I'll check it out again when it's more of a full game.

FANTASTIC LOVE IT SO CUTE
Backed in kickstarter a long while ago, kinda forgot about the game, played for a bit, and for a really really early alpha it is alright, but not a full fledged game. Up to this point I have a couple of feedback points: - Make the Escape key work for menus, the way the settings menu makes you click the top most item and then resume feels cluncky, when building buildings Escape would be nice to be the over arching "Shut it" button that dismisses all open pop ups like in other games. - It is fairly easy to make a villager do something and then you want to check up on a building and accidentally assign them to it even you didn't want to. - Maybe make the top bar of villagers show their stats whenever you hover over them. - Definitly needs more settings, also for some reason the settings didn't save for me so they kept being on low even though my specs would far exceed it. - I feel the characters look too goofy as of now I cannot recommend it yet :(
Amazing hand made art and 3d models everywhere! Custom Stories, and a very unique mix of game play ideas! It's a very ambitious game, and I think it's off to a great start! Certainly something that will be fun to watch bloom.
The game is still in its developmental stage but I believe that there is a strong foundation that this game can build off of and become a really great game
As far as an early access game goes, there are a ton of cute little features and the ability to customize a cozy town. Some bugs to work out, but plenty of management tools to play with. My tamed Cow, named Moog'th, Dimensional Bovine, follows me wherever I go -- and I couldn't be happier. Looking forward to when some of the hinted at features make their way into the game.
Although it still needs a lot of development, I am enjoying my time with this game. The developers are very actively working on this game with fixes and features being rolled out often. It doesn't have a ton of content so it currently isn't a game one can currently sink too much meaningful time into, but it has good structure that will keep me coming back to it many more times.
So far so fun! The devs have been working hard to get hotfixes out quicker than any other dev i have met. They work hard and listen harder to their community. Can't wait to see how far this game can go.
The game is very obviously in an Early Access stage, but it's cozy and gorgeous, I feel like this is the kind of game that when finished you can just get lost on it play for hours.
