Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Ages of Cataria is a cozy story generation game. Every story begins with a family embarking and then settling on a new land called "Cataria". Here, the villagers will have to build out their comforts and find their roles in this new society.
Over time, others will join your settlement, and some will find love and start new families around town. Experience these generational stories as your villagers age over time.

Villagers will age before your eyes. In their lifetimes, they will leave a lasting mark on the village by forming meaningful relationships, experiencing life-changing events, and contributing their unique skills. See their children grow and leave their own unique mark on the town.
Build out your town, fulfilling your town’s needs for shelter, food, and resources. As your town grows, so will its desires. Decorate your town to enhance its appearance, and villagers may start to take notice as well.

Every so often, villagers will encounter events around the village. These will pop up around the map and happen randomly, giving the villager a chance to experience a unique event. These events can be as small as finding a unique insect and as impactful as marriage.
Death is part of telling a generational story. Everyone’s story eventually ends, and in Cataria, that is no different. Once a villager passes, their spirit will enter your town's spirit tree, which will grow with your town as more spirits pass away. This provides your villagers with a place to gather, remember their ancestors, and offer gifts to the afterlife.

While a touch buggy, this game's definitely got potential.
I've really been enjoying Ages of Cataria! The art style, character development, and creative elements of this game have made it a really fun experience so far. I've been liking the village I'm creating and am excited to continue.
I feel a bit mixed about the game. Ages of Cataria is fun but it also feels quite barebones right now. - I like the music in the game. - I have to get used to the character models and do not yet fully know whether I like them or not, so far I might lean towards not liking it. - You find new people to join you too quickly as there is not enough production buildings to get them all to work, especially not very early in the game. - They need to fix the random names that the parents gives their children, getting 2 babies named Barry was fun but with the 5th it feels too much. - It feels like the game progress very slowly at times, it does not help that when I open a new menu there is a chance for the game speed to go from X3 back to Normal speed. - Why can you only rotate the camera when the game is paused and not move it around? - I would like a way to select multiple characters and a easy way to see where there is an open job building and who is working at what building. - The game deselect the characters you just gave a task to and I am not sure if I like that. - I love the little added "Story choices/Events" in the game. I will give it a "Not Recommended" review for now, but that is only because I feel it needs more work and because there is no "Mixed" choice.

This game is a lot of fun and it has potential however I can't recommend it in its current state. I streamed it last week and ran into a lot of bugs where I had to keep reloading my save file to continue playing cause sometimes people stopped moving or doing things or they got stuck in objects. I think after they do some more patches, this game will be great.
I was really excited for this one for a long time but it's so buggy :/ I have to manually path villagers around things in their path like trees or they'll get stuck, one of my villagers got fully stuck and I used the "i'm stuck" option and they disappeared completely from the map. They still exist at the top of the screen but can't get them to do anything because they aren't on the map anywhere. I've been following since I saw the kickstarter and this is a really disappointing early access.
Lots of promise and has a strong foundation. Some bugs here or there, but I am excited to see where the game will go
I rarely return anything but this one I had to I tried to get into it but it’s just so boring and repeated events are annoying idk how many times I’d replay the same romantic scenario like just no I can’t recommend this right now. Controls are kinda wonky but I’m also on a steam deck to
There's a lot of potential in this, but right now there's not enough to do and I can't justify recommending you spend money on it just yet. Once the tutorial portion ends, you just sit around and wait for things to happen. I'm not actually managing anything, just letting the game run and waiting for events or more people. I'll check it out again when it's more of a full game.
I love a good cozy game to wind down with at the end of the day, and so far this is scratching that itch. Being able to play as a whole family unit really adds to the experience and makes it feel more meaningful. Love the art, music, & overall vibes. It also seems like the devs are already aware of a few bugs & I've already seen a few updates go out, so I have a lot of hope for the final release!
Ages of Cataria is a cute, cozy village sim that has a lot of charm! Although the game is a bit buggy, be mindful that this game is still in early access. It is clear the devs care deeply about this project, as they are receptive to feedback and are working tirelessly to improve. Creating a video game with a small, voluntary team is no easy task , and their dedication to listening to their community is admirable and deserves recognition. If you enjoy relaxed, cozy life sims and want to support a team that genuinely listens to its community, this game is definitely worth it!
