3 Difficulty Levels
Every mission can be completed in 3 distinct difficulty modes (Agent, Special Agent, and 64 Agent). With higher difficulty comes more objectives, and more open areas to discover.
(Tip: Start with Agent to familiarize yourself with the missions, then ramp up the difficulty to discover what comes next.)

Big Heads
Melee Disarms
Slow Bullet Speeds
No Reload
…and many more!
Ready for an unorthodox challenge? Complete Contracts: remixed missions with different objectives and Paradox mode pre-sets for additional Paradox unlocks.
Fight against friends in local split-screen multiplayer combat, or take the gunfight online with up to 8 players and 8 additional bots.
Enjoy full lobby customization including teams, weapon set, rule sets and paradox modifiers, with up to 10 saved pre-sets to your liking.
Deathmatch: Classic deathmatch, score the more frags to win!
Briefcase: Capture the briefcase and hold it for long enough to score a point. But don't get too comfortable, after each point won, the briefcase position is reset to a random point on the map.
Zone: You have to capture the zone on the map to score points. Don't let any enemy contest it as it will stall the countdown!
Challenges: special matches against pre-set bots where players must reach a precise score under a certain amount of time. The faster you win, the better the prizes. Unlock maps, characters, music tracks, and more!

Reviews
Feels like Perfect Dark, but with mouse control. Reasonably nice to look at, good sound track, I honestly can't think of a good reason not to buy this.
At first I was put off by the difficulty, jumping right into Secret Agent, but the game does a good job of ramping up the challenge if you start on Agent and move through the campaign, repeating some missions and cleaning up challenge modes as you go. Pros: Good action, good control even with gamepad, good nostalgia hit, ok level and objective variety, good music, good difficulty ramp Cons: Limited weapon selection, very little enemy variety, repeated maps, no mission briefing page so level order feels a little arbitrary, heavy reliance on challenges, feels a little short, hidden / bonus levels are coming soon In general, I would recommend!

It's golden eye like you remember not like how it is
It is exactly what it says it is. 1997 out of 10.
Faithful recreation of the classic N64 Goldeneye and Perfect Dark games. The developer nailed the whole vibe: The pacing, level design, the difficulty settings, the art, and the gameplay. The game has that awkward N64-style single stick aiming mechanic of not being able to move and aim at the same time. It's an intentional design choice. The enemy animations faithfully recreate the vibe of the era, including the hit reactions and that totally unnecessary roll that lets you shoot the guards more easily :) The weapons look and feel like their N64 equivalents. The sound and music brings back nostalgia. Those goofy "Ooo" sounds the guards make when they get hit :) Even the challenges and secret agent and Agent64 (00 Agent) modes force you to master each level and exploit enemy placement and behaviors. It reminded me of playing some of those old N64 levels for hours to master them. The only gripe I had is I think that 26 cyphers is a bit too much to unlock the final act. I think something like 22 would be a better number so more players can get to the end on Agent mode. It is quite a bit more than Act 3 and will admit I bounced off the game for a while as it seemed insurmountable. But I returned and eventually mastered the game enough to earn enough cyphers to roll the credits.
Very comfortable controls. somethings missing like more guns and crouching. Would recommend. Hopefully gets mod support.
Peak GoldenEye 007 days right here. However, it still needs some bugs fixed—the frame rate drops extremely low and requires a reset. There are a few other minor bugs, but once those are squished, it's got some serious throwback vibes
