3 Difficulty Levels

Zone: You have to capture the zone on the map to score points. Don't let any enemy contest it as it will stall the countdown!
Challenges: special matches against pre-set bots where players must reach a precise score under a certain amount of time. The faster you win, the better the prizes. Unlock maps, characters, music tracks, and more!

What a absolute fun blast from the past. Sure, the campaign is not too long. However, it has a ton of replayability. The moment-to-moment gameplay is just so much fun. The hard difficulties, missions, and mission variations make each run through tougher but fun.
this isn't a Love Letter to GoldenDark, this is damn near a sequel - that's how close it is in feel and general vibeness. I was into this game's demo when it first came out and have been passively waiting for it since then, so maybe three years. and it's good. maybe great, I don't know yet. I definitely think it more than fulfills its concept of making GoldenEye But 2020's - it's a more painstakingly faithful recreation than any of the official ones that've so far been released. everything's there, right to the exact same stock sound effect bad guy deaths. the addition of a solo / online Bot Arena mode is much more than welcome - well done on that. didn't have to do it but you did. this is one of the most charming releases you'll play this year IF you have a fond familiarity with the GoldenDark games. and if you don't, it's a hoot anyway. highly recommended, and the developer really did well, here. took their time, and it paid off. really well done.

Agent 64: Spies Never Die is a very faithful throwback to GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark. The gunplay, levels and missions structure will make you feel right at home. But, some things about the campaign are a bit annoying and could be improved: - Weapon selection is limited to a few pistols and the same 2 or 3 automatics. - Sniper Rifle doesn't seem to zoom further than other weapons. - Enemy AI sometimes have a long starting animation, giving you plenty of time to attack. I wish they could throw grenades instead. They can melee attack, which is great. - Item selection is done by menus. I would prefer new key binds different from weapon cycling. Personally, the look of the menus could be better: GoldenEye used a watch, Perfect Dark something similar. But here, it's basic PC menu. This is where the game could bring out its own personality. There is no mission briefing section to explain where the player is, what he has to do and why in the context of the story could be interesting. The story is pretty much in the intro cutscenes and in the mission objective description. As for multiplayer, I haven't touched it. But, since the targeting system is more like the console games, I prefer something like a classic PC shooter. GoldenEye Source 5.0 is a better option for me.
This game is a compliment for legendary games such as Golden Eye and Perfect Dark, captivating the atmosphere and feeling of those both games. It is very nostalgic one for me - and gives it all for this nostalgic hunger through multiple gaming options, the atmosphere and playability!
A spiritual successor to the N64 game(s) we loved. The nods to Goldeneye and even Perfect Dark are awesome to see. This game does quite a good job of capturing that "oldschool" feeling. The sound FX bring me right back to the late 90s'. The Doom door sounds, the Goldeneye grunts and moans from enemies being shot. The gun FX , glass etc. All such a nostalgia trip haha.
If youre a fan of old school fps's like goldeneye or perfect dark this is the game for you and there is online co op and multiplayer with bots.
Soooo, um.. I bookmarked this on my watch list.. and monthly, for at least 2 years, I checked the status [when the actual F is this game being released?]. Let me tell ya sumfin.... The world needed this nostalgia RN, FR, like 2 years ago. Agent 64 was produced by one, Replicant D6. It is clear this game took a long time to produce and I think nailed it. Deserves a brag. Worth the wait. While the game shares elements of both GoldenEye and PerfectDark, it fulfills it's own style. No not like the crap clone "boomer shooters" that have monopolized the market: Agent 64 is clearly a *tribute*. Story was short (but not too short!) and if you take the time to play each level and ramp up difficulty, the fun spreads longer. Challenges are legit tough! (Legendary #1 -- Can this be beat?!) The lo-fi "spy noir" tunes solidify the nostalgia. I noticed a few hyper-critical reviews. I do not think they are fair and regard otherwise insignificant nuances that do not detract from the game experience overall. Rather than actually provide an insight or solution to the dev (who has discord), it's, again, half-borns crying.. still mentally reeling from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ their pants in life. Complaining about the cipher system? It's smart. C'mon get good. Remember: One Dev. One Dude. One Android. It may not be as *long* as a multi-developer saga like GoldenEye or *deep* like the pelagic Perfect Dark, but I can reassure you the asking price is worth it and scratches the itch. D6, awesome job, thanks for the throwback. PS: please add an Odd-job and Jaws height character to upcoming add-on content; but exclude from multiplayer.
clairement une référence a timesplitters et goldeneye trés on feeling et bon jeux ! rajouter du sang ca serais bien
Reminds me of the good ol' days of gold and darkness
Amazing!! Like playing Perfect Dark or Golden Eye again. Runs great on steam deck. 13 out of 7
