Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 13 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

Father of light. Father of death. Give us your wisdom, give us your breath. Summoner says that Jupiter is the loneliest planet.
Gra dobra, choć już nie najnowsza. Ciekawe, czy i kiedy będzie Age of Wonders: Planetfall 2?
Hi, just to be clear, I started this game this year ( in 2025). My first age of wonders was age of wonders 4 (more than 300 hours into it). Wich could be my favorite game of all time. But I play several game in the process, and don't keep to one specific game in general, but I still like 4x in general. I wonder if I'm making this evaluation a bit too soon yes or not ( a bit more than 30 hours atm). This game is more directive than Age of wonders 4 : There's a campaign, yes. And you're stuck with a hero ( while you have an extensive choice in Age of wonders 4, and can even create one if you want to). One of the thing I tried here is the empire : I have conquered only 2 planets so far. Maybe it's cool, makes you want to try the hero you want to. Instead of being stuck with one in the campaign. But, I guess it will take quite some time. The campaign is ok. I found the "Jack Gelder" ( the first campaign and tutorial) not my type of guy : human ( I tend to avoid them in those game, or at least avoid the most generic ones). This game is totally worth a try, and you can get everything for quite cheap during sales ( wich I would recomend). Might want to try base game 1st if you want to try it. See if it's hit or miss. I'm very bad at it myself : I get all DLC and start from there. Keep in mind there won't be more DLC, wich is both a bad and good : the game won't see much evolution, but it's also easier to fix the budget. I'll stop to campare it to AoW4, thay are different games, both good, I'll say I still prefer AoW4, but I've seen player talk of this game as AoW's peak. I'd disagree. But won't argue, we're different players. One of the difference I can spot is that you can get more units in both games with technology/ knolwedge. With tomes in AoW4 ( in a cyclical manner, unlocking and choosing tomes along the game). While it's more linear in this game where there's a tree mixed with two culture ( your "race" and secret technology). In planetfall with this you can unlock secret operation ( a bit spell like), and equipment. While there's enchantment in AoW4 ( that boost specific units, melee are quite happy there). There's of course also different victory condition, and I did spotted some specific to the empire ones ( like one being getting rid of two specific allied warmongers, since there was 6 opponents / ally it's a nice option). There's also some specific to the campaign, so when you think you have to defeat those guys, you can also make the story progress. And there's also some choices to be done with the story.
Age of Wonders: Planetfall - Got this from Humble Bundle back in 2020 with six other games for 14€ i think(?) As someone who had played the third one in the series, i reaally had a hard time getting into this, maybe it was the scifi setting, the somewhat bland factions, the secret techs or the different types of damage types that i never really understood that really confused me. Maybe it was the fact that i started with the bore of a campaign that i didnt stick with Planetfall years back? But the truth is i do prefer swords, bow and magic more. But i dont think it was even this that didnt get me into this title in the series, i think its more the fact that i was not into the tactical combat it feels like a bore for some reason & its pretty advisable to do everything manually to get the best results so you kind of have to deal with it. Buuut the combat is super forgiving so if you automate the battle and dont like the results you can go in manually & in the tactical manual fights you can automate it to see what the AI would do and correct it. In addition to this theres the music/sounds/ambience that didnt hook me at all, especially in tactical battles the sounds felt so bland. Soo what did i enjoy in Aow Planetfall so much in the year 2024? Well the maps are highly detailed loved them, the hook of one more turn was very much present & doomsday weapons victory condition was a nice reason to go into the secret techs. There were factions like the Assembly, Syndicate & Amazons that i had not really played back in the day so got a better understanding of their roaster of units and playstyles. Maybe its the fact that i constantly feel like i am understanding and learning more with this game that keeps the "one more turn" mentality in addition to just painting the map in my color heh.
