Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 13 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The map and interface is pretty, but too noisy for me; I'll always miss the clean, perfect map & interface in the original AoW. But the gameplay is reliably great. Great varying play styles between each faction!

I don't really play turn based civ type games since I usually find the combat to be underwhelming but the combat here was very fun
An absolute gem of a game.
disgusting paradox fku
1100h gespielt. also ja ist sehr gut.
I was excited to play this game. That excitement was pretty much dashed though when it CTD on attempting startup. Oddly enough I have a similar problem with another game from the same developer "Stellaris." In the case of Stellaris that wasn't always the case. Several years back I played it a lot and only recently re-installed it to find that it was having a CTD problem as well. Look, I get it, I'm sure that not everyone is having this issue with these games, not by a long shot. However, from googling I know I am certainly not the only one experiencing these crashes. In comparison, I am also currently playing Cyberpunk 2077 and Starfield a ultra high settings - no crashes. Also Pathfinder: Wrath of the righteous (a less graphic intensive game) at full settings. This tells me the "problem" isn't on my end. I am an old school PC gamer. I know that sometimes a little tinkering is required to get things to run just right. However, some of the suggested fixes for both of these games to get them to launch successfully are so arcane and lengthy, that I just don't want to waste my time on a developer that puts out games that won't even launch properly for some players. I refunded the $80+ I spent on the game and DLC.
Not sure what all the bug reviews are about here. The game rund perfectly for me, no issues at all. Soild TBS game, would recommend.
watched a number of youtube videos, which didnt help - came up on a sale and jumped in. so glad i did. Think heros of might and magic in space with rpg elements, a ton of fun. still learning but i would have paid full price for this one, so much lore to now learn and strats to discover, biggest problem now will be to find the time! best part is the hero units, they level up and you also find gear and upgrades - which adds even more to the mix - looking forward to getting into this a bit more
When I tried out AoW4 I just kept wishing I was playing planetfall instead. Sure, aow4 does a few things better, but I enjoy the unique sci-fi setting more than generic high fantasy, and the cover based combat more. Hopefully someday we get PF2 with the things that Aow4 does better (like having draft and production so you can build units without slowing down your city upgrades, and the combat temporary hp mechanic) I would say both are good games, but one might click with you more than the other. For me, its this one.
