unable to play online...says its not registered...when trying to link my account to steam, says I must 1st register the game...lame

This one's a classic. So many good memories of playing this game LAN with my brothers back when it originally came out. I remember buying stuff neutral like a manticore even though I was pure good and they would rebel me and go hostile then run off into my brothers territory. Great game. If you like the tech / progressing / base building city sim sort of games. (VERY simiilar to games like 'age of empires', 'northgarde', could name off like three dozen or more titles.) Yes this game does have multiplayer functionality.

Excellent game very similar to Heroes of Might and Magic, Spellforce and Warlock: Master of the arcane. It's generally good and engaging if you like the type of game where you have a bunch of heroes leading armies and you like those heroes to stay persistent between campaign missions. Some thing that are not good about it (but it's still very much worth playing!): - Ability bar gets clogged quickly with no way to rearrange or expand it - Game doesn't handle low-end computers well and crashes sometimes - There are no "strategic resources" like you might be used to from other Civ-like games. It makes every town feel "the same" - The game is often not very clear what to expect. Which units does Charm work on? Which ones can be affected by convert? Time limit on missions isn't announced, etc.

Saw this promo on Reddit and thought "Oh, Free Game!" Clicked the link to store page and it says I played 4.4 hours of this game, even though I've never even touched it. What kind of sorcery is this??
