Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I tried AoW4 on a free weekend and I found out it is a woke consolized slop, this game instead is the last good Age of Wonders, and boy it is good, it is much deeper, old school difficult and with many mods, a very very good 100% PC game with UI made for PC. If you are a newbie of this genre you will experience some friction here, because combat is brutal and mobs hit you like bricks (and this is the great part), that's why this game has less players, it is not for casual audience like AoW4... but in AoW4 you will find more defined cartoony graphics and rainbows everywhere, because that is the only bait of shallow games.
One of the most configurable RMG even created. For one of the BEST rated games of all time. You can buy it on sale for a kiss, and surely it is worth it when you get into how much QUALITY content you receive for what you pay. I highly recommend this title, I have been playing the whole series for ages. Looking forwards to buying the sequel or even better checking it out again first when/if they have another free weekend. Extremely well made release that has been patched to virtual perfection! Mods/User Content are just as extensive as the base game also!

I'm on Linux (Mint) and while I had played this at some point, for a fair while, I no longer can. I get the Triumph launching window, click "guest" account, and then ... the window goes away and nothing happens. It was sort of like Heroes of Might & Magic, but a bit tedious. I guess I'll uninstall, but I'm really annoyed when something that was working doesn't anymore. I bought the game, and they took it away from me. *Edit -- By changing the compatibility setting for the game to Proton Hotfix, I was able to get it running again. I still think I wouldn't really recommend the game -- it's not bad -- it has a decent campaign, but it's a bit bland and long.
A fantastic part of the AoW franchise. The Vanilla experience holds up to this day, and the mods on the steam workshop add hundreds of hours of replayability.
Really need official Chinese language.
This game has a lot of good. But 1 incredibly glaring issue makes me unable to recommend the game. I can't change the resolution. This game has a LOT of reading. Which is fine, If I can read it. I can't adjust the resolution to my screen, I can't read the text easily or properly.
谁说这游戏老啊,这游戏可太棒了

The game feels like a downgrade from AoW2 and you have to sign into a third party platform.
