Also mir gefällt Age of Rivals. Gruß Juy Juka

Overly complicated, not fun.
The game is interesting and seems fun at first . Maybe im just not understanding , but i don't get how the timing of cards seems to work also the game is a little to random for my taste . one person can randomly draw previously destroyed cards from prior rounds and not your really good cards while your opponent happens to draw his best .
Some of the cards are unbalanced (really swingy), but I like the idea of choosing 3 cards (choices restricted to the leader) that can be seen for purchase. It feels similar to Dominion otherwise, where you have to weigh points with everything else.
It's a lot of fun! It's kind of a Seven Wonders sort of thing. It's a deckbuilder: you draft cards from a hand which can give you points, attack your opponent's cards, defend against your opponent's attacks, or provide resources that make future cards cheaper. It does a good job of giving you the feel of planning out a game of Civ, in the "okay I started near stone so I guess I might try building the pyramids this game" sense, but on a vastly compressed timescale: unlike Civ, a round of this game won't take up your whole weekend. The game is highly random, though. I don't mind too much, because it's just a reminder not to take the game too seriously. It's just a neat little game to play for fun when you have a free moment.
i've played this game for nearly 200 hours. would have played for hundreds more... but... the game has stopped opening. i can't play it anymore. it was one of my favorite games. and i'd recommend the mobile version to anyone interested (i have the ios port, which is lovely.), but i can't in good conscience recommend a game on steam that won't even load anymore.
I remember playing this on Kongregate back in the day. The gameplay still holds up great even when compared to modern drafting games, and there is great variety in strategies that require flexible play. However one game-breaking issue is that the Steam version keeps freezing and crashing for me after playing for ~1 hour each time. For that reason, I can't recommend this game but I am looking forward to the sequel.
