Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 15 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Lead a civilization from a lone settler to a global power in this turn-based 4X strategy game. Explore handcrafted hex maps, found cities, build roads, research technologies, manage strategic resources, trade, wage war, and play solo or multiplayer.
Your people begin with a lone settler, an unexplored hex map, and a world full of opportunities and threats. Found your first city, reveal the surrounding lands, and decide what kind of civilization you want to create.
Age of New Worlds is a turn-based 4X strategy game built around deliberate decisions rather than quick reactions. Every turn is a chance to expand your borders, strengthen your economy, prepare your defenses, or exploit a rival’s weakness.
Send units into the unknown, uncover valuable terrain, and choose where your next city should rise. Develop the land with workers, construct roads between important locations, and build an empire whose cities, armies, and trade routes support one another.
Strategic resources are more than icons on the map. Reveal deposits through research, build the improvements needed to extract them, accumulate stockpiles, spend resources on production, and trade your surpluses for gold or other resources.
Advance through the technology tree to unlock new units, buildings, improvements, infrastructure, and world wonders. Invest in a peaceful economy and diplomacy, or prepare armies capable of taking what negotiation cannot secure.
Command land, naval, siege, reconnaissance, and modern units. Movement depends on terrain and roads, while fortification, ranged attacks, retreats, and positioning can decide the outcome of a war.
Conquer your rivals, dominate the map, lead through score, or compete for powerful world artifacts. There is more than one path to victory.
• Single-player — build your empire against computer-controlled civilizations.
• Local hot-seat — share one device and take turns with other players.
• Online multiplayer — join network matches with other players. The online mode is available and continues to receive improvements to synchronization, reconnects, stability, and match flow.
• Multiple handcrafted hex maps with distinct strategic layouts
• 24 playable countries with localized leaders and city names
• Exploration, fog of war, city founding, territorial expansion, and population growth
• Workers, terrain improvements, resource extraction, and road construction
• A persistent transport network that changes movement costs and merchant routes
• Strategic-resource deposits, stockpiles, production requirements, refunds, and trade agreements
• A technology tree with new units, buildings, improvements, infrastructure, and world wonders
• Land, naval, siege, reconnaissance, and modern military units
• Tactical movement, fortification, ranged combat, retreats, and terrain-based decisions
• Save and load support, match history, and replays
• Several victory paths, including conquest, territorial domination, score, and world artifacts
Age of New Worlds is a solo-developed, open-source game. The current release already includes the complete core strategy loop: explore, settle, develop, research, trade, fight, and pursue victory.
Regular updates continue to improve the interface, AI, balance, multiplayer, performance, map presentation, combat feedback, and available content. Player reports and suggestions directly influence development priorities.

Very good start. Been looking for a good back to basics modern Civ 1/2ish. Developer seems responsive, nice and committed.
This is not a finished game. Pathing is bad. Units choose the run around and not the shortest way. Pathing is broken. Units have "moves" 3/3, 2/3 etc. Skipping turn does not replenish said "moves". For example: your unit is "stuck" on a coast tile and cannot go back to forest tile because it has now only 2/3 "moves". There is no proper game setting menu. No screen resolution. You cannot go full screen borderless. It all feels like a civ 1 clone but much worse. How can u reinvent a bicycle that does not ride?

Deutsch / German - English down below.. LM 22.3 Zena, lief so lala! English : I can't recommend this, first of all it's a mobile port, you'll notice that when you start the game. I also know the game from the Google Play Store but that's not the problem. The game doesn't start on Linux even though it's intended to do so, but it only starts via Proton after different Proton versions - but the hotfix worked best. Once in the game, "full screen not possible, only window mode" is very bad. No music or sound effects in the game, graphics are not high resolution, rather flat, muddy and they look far worse than on the screenshots, so it doesn't correspond to the screenshots from the Steam shop page. The price under 3 euros on sale actually says it all, unfortunately when I saw it I already knew that it was just a direct port from the Google P. Store. Honestly ? I'd rather continue playing Civilization. I don't recommend the game, I wouldn't waste my time on it even if it was free, it's a shame that it's only a mobile game again, it just doesn't belong on the PC! LM 22.3 Zena, was not runing without problems!
Wonderful game. The interesting part of this game is how well it presents information. That has been my gripe with other 4X games but I really like how clean the information presentation is. And the game is very relaxing to play with just awesome music. The controls get a little bit used too but that is usually true for most games. And I'm not clear why, but this game is seriously underpriced. Looking forward to new content since the Developer has stated that he has ambitious plans. Fully playable now. Great job, Ernest.dev.
.ok
For the low cost you pay its a game in progress. do not expect a civilization style playthrough. however i feel like the current trend for civilization 7 is Garbage. take that as you may. this game has potential i look forward to what it turns into
Needs a lot of work. Seems like everyone attacks you. Unit management is very clunky. Exit button does not work.
