Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In the years following the conclusion of AGE OF FEAR 3: THE LEGEND, a surging tide of criminal activity has thrown the realm into disarray. The rival gangs of the Iron Five have risen to prominence, leaving little in the way of peace or security in King William's lands. It's in this climate that the recently-graduated Vampire Hunter Angela embarks on a quest into corruption and murder after her inaugural hunt takes an unexpected turn. Along with her companion Nazell, Angela will go head-to-head with the criminality that threatens to sink the realm into its deepest Age of Fear!

What sets Age of Fear series apart from many others are that the Devs do more than add periodic patches. They add new gameplay options that shakeup (in a positive way) the mechanics. When I played the first one, there was no Stealth, no Pushing, no crafting and no open world with random and special abilities for units beyond counting. These abilities fundamentally alter how they play. For instance wolves with their hit & run mechanic, making what once was mere cannon fodder, viable skirmishers. Its refreshing to come back after a hiatus and discover something new. This is definitely a labor of love and Age of Fear 4: The Iron Killer is no different. What makes this particular game is the main character, Vampire Hunter Angela. A pistol packing mama with a voice accented with a Southern drawl that would normally be out of place in a fantasy setting, fits the character to a T. She's sassy but respectful when situation requires it. She has a lopsided sense of humor but sober and serious, when the situation requires it. She could have easily been written off as a silly caricature but she isn't. The banter between the bad guys and her are to die for. Her and Bel'Kara are neck and neck for the best player characters in the series. Gameplay wise, great fun if you're into turn based tactical games. Although its challenging as hell at first, eventually it becomes easy, even at the highest difficulty because the open world provides you with so many items. The challenge eventually stems more from avoiding losing anybody in your roster instead of the battle. As for the story, mediocre. I liked the whole detective and investigation aspect but it was fairly predictable. I wish it had a greater emphasis on Vampire hunting. I'm not saying that should be the entire focus should be on that because it would get stale. However Angela *is* a Vampire Hunter. I also request the developer add a way for us to see the background art during a mission briefing. The writing is more than satisfactory to stimulate the imagination and art is a great compliment. To have it obscured with text and unable to hide and listen to the voice over does the franchise a great disservice. That'd be the ideal briefing. I have resigned to screenshoting the artwork when the text disappears for a quarter second. Also, why isn't the trailer part of the game intro when it boots up? Its well crafted and its a shame its relegated to the store page! Anyway, buy this damn game. You won't regret it.

I am sorry, but this game is terrible compared to the previous entries. The new story structure is awfull. I never liked the move to pseudo open world gameplay in the first place, but this game requires you to grind random battles, because you start out with only two units, and the next story mission requires you to have 10 units. In previous games I could mostly ignore the randomly generated garbage battles and only play the handcrafted fun stuff, in this game this is no longer viable. Add to that no longer being able to choose a faction out of two, and having locked DLC on the map screen on all time, and I see absolutely no reason to play this game over the free Age of Fear the Free World. Why did I spend money on this again? It needs a strong shift in design philosophy to make me come back to this series in the future.
Love the Series. I´ll admit that I was not too happy on Day one DLC, but the game is great. Cant wait to see the next game!
The game does not function in full screen mode with a dual display set up. A user reported having the same issue last May, and the dev's suggestion was to play in windowed mode or refund. The windowed mode resolutions are rather limited, so I can't fill most of my screen with the game. I really don't like the feel of playing a small game window with my desktop behind it for this type of game. I've requested a refund and am leaving this review here to hopefully save others time if they have a similar set up and preferences.
Les did it again. Another successful installment of the series. Age of Fear 4 I feel runs smoother and has a better polish than the first 3. Age of fear is a strategy game similar to games like battle for wesnoth and tabletop warhammer. It is surprisingly deep and has so many character options and styles that one could get quite a few different strategies with the same faction. I have mentioned it before in past reviews but I think age of fear is arguably the best or one of the best indie strategy games of the decade.
really enjoyable
Age of Fear 4: The Iron Killer is the latest installment in the renowned turn-based strategy game series, and it's a testament to the genre's enduring appeal. Developed by Leslaw Sliwko, this game takes players on an enthralling journey through a dark and treacherous world filled with political intrigue, challenging battles, and deep strategic choices. One of the standout features of Age of Fear 4 is its rich and immersive storytelling. The game presents a compelling narrative that keeps players engaged from start to finish. Whether you're a newcomer to the series or a long-time fan, the well-crafted plot, intriguing characters, and unexpected twists will undoubtedly leave you wanting to uncover more. The dialogue is well-written, and the choices you make during interactions with NPCs have a tangible impact on the unfolding events, adding a layer of depth and replayability. The tactical combat system in Age of Fear 4 is both challenging and rewarding. Battles are turn-based affairs that require careful planning, positioning, and effective use of your units' unique abilities. Each unit has its strengths and weaknesses, and learning to exploit them is crucial for success. The game offers a diverse roster of units, from powerful spellcasters to hulking warriors, allowing for varied and strategic gameplay styles. The AI presents a commendable challenge, providing an enjoyable experience for both seasoned strategists and newcomers alike. Visually, Age of Fear 4 maintains the series' signature style with detailed and atmospheric graphics. From the eerie swamps to the war-torn villages, the environments are beautifully rendered, immersing you further into the game's world. The character designs are distinct and memorable, adding personality and charm to the diverse cast of heroes and villains. In terms of replayability, Age of Fear 4 offers multiple branching paths and different endings, encouraging players to make different choices and explore alternative storylines. Additionally, the game features a robust modding community, allowing players to create and share their own scenarios, units, and campaigns, further extending the game's longevity. However, it's worth mentioning that the learning curve in Age of Fear 4 can be steep for newcomers to the genre. The game does provide tutorials and tooltips to help you grasp the mechanics, but it may take some time to fully appreciate the intricacies of the gameplay. All in all, Age of Fear 4: The Iron Killer is a captivating and strategic adventure that fans of turn-based strategy games will thoroughly enjoy. With its engaging storytelling, challenging battles, and immersive world, it offers hours of gameplay and ample replayability. Whether you're a seasoned strategist or a curious newcomer, this title is a worthy addition to your gaming library.
