Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world is old… ancient.
The tales you are about to hear are lost in the nights of time.
Two moons still shone in the sky, and the world was still young, prehistoric and wild.
Only Atlan, the land of the created, still carried faint glimmers of civilization.
But even it was already too old, too decadent… and would soon vanish forever.
So let me tell you the memories of those ancestral days,
of men and women who fought, prayed, loved, and hated,
so that all would not be lost.
Let me tell you…
The Age of Barbarians’ Chronicles.
An ancient lost land called Atlan, full of legends, mysteries, prehistoric beasts, nightmarish creatures and dangers of all kinds, populated by civilizations with ancient customs and unique mythology.
The art of combat involves dodges, parries, blocks, attacks of various types, counterattacks, rolls, unbalances, special powers, and blood-filled fatalities.
The ancient dungeons of Atlan conceal numerous treasures, including powerful weapons, shields, armor, helmets, rings, and so on, which increase your combat efficiency.
Age of Barbarians Chronicles is drenched in old-school spirit, from its RPG system, based on the tabletop game of the same name, to its Sword & Sorcery setting and classic dungeon-crawling exploration.
Join forces with a friend and plunge into the savage world of Atlan. Explore deadly dungeons, uncover ancient treasures, and battle together to survive the campaign.
A party of adventurers is stronger than one hero alone. However, remember that both treasure and experience points are shared among companions.
Many dungeons are carefully hand-designed, but at the same time, you will encounter many others that are procedural, offering you countless combinations and making each exploration unique and rewarding.

This game is like a neutered down boring version of the first. The original game is superior in basically every way. The only reason I'm not refunding this is because of the achievements. Maybe if the devs hadn't censored an ADULT GAME to make it for TODDLERS it would be halfway decent.
I was looking forward to this game, but it didn't turn out as I hoped it would Difficulty: it's hard. Usually not an issue, but you can run into big issues later in stages when you get a checkpoint and out of heal potions. You can't exit the level, but you may face an enemy with stupid rng and sometimes downright unfair attacks. Your companions are basically crap and will die to random enemies often or just stand there doing nothing. I also dislike that check points are less frequent than in the previous two games and you only have one life before you have to restart, so if you get hit too often in a short time and die a stupid death, have fun doing the whole stage again Presentation: the voice acting is (intentionally) bad. At least I assume it's intentional, as it gives off that crappy B-movie style of the early 90's. For me, gore and bare skin is a part of the sword and sorcery genre, but here, both is minimal compared to the previous two games. You have the option for censoring or uncensoring, but pretty much all it does is make nipples visible for the female characters that are topless. Gore stays harmless to a point of non existent Gameplay: it's clunky, but manageable for the most part. The skill tree is highly underdeveloped, and I really don't get why (on keyboard), kicking, running and jumping is all designated to one key. You press the key once for kick, forward and key for running, twice for jumping. It was possible in AoB, why not here? Tldr, I was really looking forward for this, but it just isn't as good as their previous games

Every cutscene is some sort of hideous AI-generated nightmare : characters with wobbly fingers, terrifying eyes, possessed hair and melting weapons that can't quite keep their shape from one frame to the next. Is this the developer's idea of a quality product? I would honestly have been fine with a simple (handcrafted) text scroll... What a shame.
Игра пустая. Контента с гулькин нос. Плюс бесящая цензура. Ждал эту игру очень долго. Первая часть мне понравилась. Итог сплошное разочарование.
Differs from what was promised on patreon. Companions AI is very bad, even 4 months after the release.
This is a fun game and very hard ------level up and set your own stats------ you have to parry, dodge roll you can trade items travel around on a world map, risk of getting attacked by monsters
A disappointing game, not worth it's asking price
Been a follower of Age Of Barbarian since its inception and this one does not disappoint, Just wish there was a new game plus mode so I can keep leveling my character, I also enjoy the fact that they are constantly improving this game via various updates. I NEED MORE OF THIS!
