Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.25/day in the week to Aug 3 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

With a writing team that includes credits on Far Cry, Mass Effect, and Sovereign Syndicate, Aether & Iron brings to life an alternate timeline in which anti-gravitational aether technology has reshaped the city skyline and deepened social divides.
Thoroughly researched and inspired by real-life counterparts from 1930s New York City, explore its backstreets, dive into its seedy underbelly, marvel at stunning architecture, and peel back the city's many layers of power and greed.
Your choices shape not just your path, but the city's fate as well. Will you rise as a savior, withdraw as a renegade, or evolve into a symbol of resilience in a world of authoritarian barons and high-stakes strategy?

What good is a smuggler without a good getaway car? Assemble a wide range of incredible aether-powered vehicles and unlock new tactical options to try out in an interesting twist on strategic, turn-based vehicular battles.
Tinker with your rides to suit your playstyle. Do you prefer moving hard and fast, relying on speed for quick getaways? Or perhaps you might prefer to slap on some steel plates and bust out the grenade launcher!

The streets of New York can be unforgiving without reliable backup. Recruit unique and resourceful companions to watch your back, and follow their stories. Each is armed with a range of talents that can make all the difference in a jam.
We have over 200 voiced characters in the game, here are a few:

Dive Into An Underground Life: Navigate secret paths, dodge enemies, hide contraband, and stay ahead of the big bosses out to get you. Perhaps join a rebellion along the way.
Your Choices Matter: Your decisions will shape the unfolding history of New York and the lives of its citizens, determining whether they will be able to find hope in a corrupt world of manipulation and violence.
Grow Your Talents: Level up your Hustle, Smarts, and Brass abilities to improve your chances in combat and social situations. But no matter how good you are always a dice roll away from success or failure.
Drive In Style: Upgrade your aether-powered rides to suit your playstyle. Enhance your cars with every trick in the smuggler’s toolkit - hidden compartments, smoke dispensers, and flamethrowers of course.
Hand-drawn Art: Inspired by 1930’s Detective Comics and the Art Deco period, Aether & Iron brings a unique visual identity to gameplay.
Full English Language Voice Acting: Experience an alt-history 1930s New York directly through the voices of its inhabitants. Learn their stories; sometimes funny, sometimes philosophical, usually tragic.

有可取之处,但还是粗糙欠打磨。有点虎头蛇尾,但是喜欢女主人设所以好评了(真的不能加一段Romance剧情吗
Great storyline where your decisions carry weight. Story and voice acting are great and you'll quickly get hooked into a great little adventure.

I had a lot of fun with this and the writing is wonderful. Unfortunately, cannot defeat the final boss and I really think there needs to be more options for acquiring funds, optimising builds etc prior to the final boss
This games got dazzle
game seems to be criminally overlooked rn on steam. story is pretty good, combat is okay and the VO work is really well done. Only issue is that the story is more on rails than it seems. Still, had a lot of fun playing it, hope to see more games like this on steam in the future.
Very good vibes and dialogue
A great game, a true piece of art! Five Stars!
A fun, reasonably long game. The art is gorgeous, and the story quite engaging, with a wide array of interesting side characters. The tactical car combat is something I haven't seen before, and it stayed fun and engaging until the end of the game. Following the advice from other reviews, I kept my cars constantly upgraded and always had repair kits in the trunk to stay topped up, so I never got stuck at any fights. I had one bug that stopped me from playing the game for a while, since I was on the single-save mode and I got stuck in an infinite loading screen, but the dev team reacted to the bug report quickly and transparently, which I would like to praise. The writing style leans into the noir aesthetic a little too hard at times, but it still works overall. The events in the middle of the final act feel hastily paced, but maybe I just missed some things because I was sick while playing it. And finally, I feel like the game is teasing some romantic tension that never gets addressed or resolved, but ultimately that's a very personal impression that might not hold true for others.
Solid story, well-written, with choices that feel authentic to the characters. Combat is reminiscent of the Steve Jackson "Car Wars" games. I also appreciated the world-building, both in terms of the story and the art direction. Really sets the game apart from all the generic fantasy and JRPG offerings in the store.
