Adventure of Rikka - The Cursed Kingdom

When it comes to 2D Zelda-likes, there is nothing more straightforward than The Adventure of Rikka. And that can be both good and bad, depending on your expectations. This is wholeheartedly an indie game, with that sweet indie jank, but also with loads of charm. You can get softlocked, UI is mediocre at best, story is... present, I guess? But it's also a fun way to spend a couple of hours for a couple of bucks. You can see that this is a product of genuine passion and while the skillset or budget might not be fully there, it's still worth it in my opinion. There are a ton of collectibles, some very clever puzzles and some dungeons have great designs. I think what this game lacks the most are QoL features - map is useless, UI is barely legible and there are only two slots for items without a possibility to quickly switch them. I wish the developer all the best with the next project! Despite all the cons, I really enjoyed my time with this game and I will surely check out whatever they release next.

I am a sucker for retrogames like the rpg games from SNES era, like Chrono Trigger, Zelda: a link to the past and so on. I see alot of similarities in this game, in a good way. So if you like the adventure games in this style you will love this game!

Oyun çok güzel ancak maalesef çok ama çok puzzlelar mevcut. Bunun zeka ile ilgili olmadığını düşünüyorum artık :D Özellikle 4x3 boyutundaki kare puzzle oyunu silmeme neden oldu :D

Ein wirklich sehr gutes und gelunges Game meiner Meinung nach Ich hab die ersten 3 stunden angespielt und das spiel macht auf jedenfall spaß auf mehr Ich werd es aber noch durchspielen umzugucken wie das Spiel endet und ob ich dann noch die 100% machen werde :3 Auf jedenfall kann ich das spiel sehr empfehlen <3

Just overall not very good. There aren't any good puzzles and there isn't anything else in the game to recommend it for. Combat doesn't feel good but is barely needed anyway, story barely exists and what does is as cookie cutter as it gets and the game overall just feels very bland. It's not really a bad game but since I can only leave a thumbs up or thumbs down, it gets a thumbs down.
