Adventure Escape Mysteries is a free puzzle adventure game that puts a bunch of different mystery and escape room stories together in one place. We can investigate murders, explore strange locations, look for hidden objects and solve puzzles while moving through different stories. It is more of a collection of smaller adventures than one huge story. The best part is definitely the puzzles. We usually have to search a scene carefully, pick up useful objects and work out how different clues fit together. Some puzzles are really satisfying because the answer makes sense once we figure it out, while others feel more like simple tasks that are there to keep the story moving. The variety is another big advantage. There are fantasy stories, murder mysteries and horror themed adventures, so we are not stuck doing the exact same type of case every time. The game has more than 500 illustrated scenes and keeps adding stories, which gives us quite a lot to explore. The presentation is nice too. The hand drawn art gives the different stories a lot of personality, and the scenes are detailed enough that searching them actually feels worthwhile. The characters are generally well designed, and the whole thing has that simple point and click adventure feel that works nicely with the escape room puzzles. The biggest problem is the free to play system. The game uses keys and other restrictions around progressing through stories, and some content is tied to in app purchases. That can get annoying when we are enjoying a mystery and suddenly have to deal with a limit instead of just continuing the story. Another weakness is that the quality is not completely consistent. Some stories have much better writing and puzzles than others, so there are times when we are really interested in the mystery and other times when we are mostly playing because we want to finish the case. The huge amount of content helps, but it also means some parts feel more memorable than others. The game is also much better when we treat it as a collection of short puzzle adventures rather than one complete experience. The stories are split up, and because there are so many of them, we can jump between different themes instead of having one long journey. That works well for short sessions, but it does not give us the same feeling as a single well developed mystery game. Overall, Adventure Escape Mysteries is a solid collection of puzzle adventures with a lot of content and some genuinely enjoyable mysteries. The puzzles and artwork are good, and there is enough variety to keep us interested for quite a while. The free to play restrictions and uneven quality between stories hold it back, but there is still plenty here to enjoy without spending anything. Rating: 7.2/10
Adventure Escape Mysteries is a highly addictive collection of puzzle-driven adventures that successfully combines escape room mechanics, detective storytelling, and point-and-click exploration into a surprisingly engaging package. Developed and published by Haiku Games Co, the game operates as a constantly expanding anthology of mysteries, murders, supernatural investigations, and fantasy adventures. Instead of delivering a single long narrative, it offers multiple episodic stories with unique themes, settings, and characters, allowing players to move from one mystery to another without the experience becoming stale. The result is a puzzle adventure game that remains entertaining for long periods thanks to its strong variety and consistently satisfying gameplay loop. One of the game’s biggest strengths is the sheer diversity of its stories. Some adventures focus on murder investigations and detective work, while others lean into supernatural horror, fantasy kingdoms, hidden conspiracies, or secret cults. This constant shift in tone and setting keeps the experience feeling fresh because each storyline introduces entirely different environments, puzzles, and narrative themes. One moment players may be investigating clues in a modern city crime scene, and the next they are exploring magical ruins or escaping dangerous laboratories. The anthology structure gives the game an almost endless sense of discovery. The puzzle design is generally excellent and strikes a good balance between accessibility and challenge. Most puzzles rely on observation, logic, and environmental interaction rather than frustrating trial-and-error mechanics. Players are encouraged to carefully examine rooms, collect clues, combine items, decode patterns, and solve environmental riddles in order to progress. The solutions usually feel fair because the game often provides enough contextual hints for attentive players to solve problems through deduction. Completing a difficult puzzle feels genuinely rewarding because progress comes from paying attention rather than random guessing. Another reason the game works so well is its pacing. Adventure Escape Mysteries constantly alternates between puzzle-solving and story progression, ensuring that the gameplay never feels stagnant. Solving puzzles often reveals new narrative twists, character motivations, or hidden information about the mystery itself. This storytelling structure keeps players emotionally invested because the puzzles are tied directly to larger adventures rather than existing as disconnected obstacles. Every solved clue pushes the narrative forward and creates a satisfying sense of momentum. The visual presentation is simple but highly effective for the genre. The illustrated environments are colorful, readable, and filled with interactive details that encourage exploration. While the graphics are not technically impressive compared to larger adventure games, the art style succeeds at establishing atmosphere and clarity. Each location feels visually distinct, whether players are investigating dark mansions, hidden temples, snowy villages, or fantasy-inspired castles. The clean presentation also helps ensure that important objects and clues remain easy to identify during puzzle-solving sections. The detective-oriented stories are particularly entertaining because they create the feeling of participating in interactive mystery novels. Searching crime scenes, interrogating suspects, uncovering hidden motives, and piecing together clues gives many chapters a satisfying investigative atmosphere. The game handles suspense effectively by slowly revealing information and encouraging players to question every discovery. Some mysteries become surprisingly engaging as new twists and revelations continue to emerge throughout the chapters. Accessibility is another major strength. The controls are intuitive, the interface is easy to understand, and the gameplay systems are welcoming even to players unfamiliar with escape room games. New players can quickly grasp the mechanics without feeling overwhelmed, while experienced puzzle fans still encounter enough complexity to stay entertained. The gradual increase in difficulty across stories creates a comfortable learning curve that rarely feels unfair. The episodic structure also works in the game’s favor. Stories are divided into manageable chapters that can often be completed in shorter sessions, making the game ideal for casual play. Each chapter delivers enough progression and mystery resolution to feel satisfying on its own while still encouraging players to continue into the next part of the story. Since there are numerous adventures available, the amount of overall content becomes surprisingly large for a free-to-play experience. Sound design is relatively subtle but still contributes nicely to the atmosphere. Background music changes depending on the tone of each mystery, helping suspenseful scenes feel tense while lighter moments remain relaxing and approachable. Ambient audio and small sound effects also help reinforce immersion during exploration and puzzle-solving. The game does not rely heavily on cinematic presentation, but the audio supports the mood effectively throughout the various adventures. One of the more impressive aspects of Adventure Escape Mysteries is how well it blends storytelling with gameplay progression. Many puzzle games focus entirely on mechanics while treating the narrative as an afterthought, but here the mysteries themselves become the primary motivation for continuing. Players want to uncover the truth behind disappearances, conspiracies, murders, and supernatural events, which gives the gameplay stronger emotional momentum than many similar titles. However, the game is not completely flawless. Since there are so many different stories and puzzle sequences, quality can vary from one adventure to another. Some mysteries are exceptionally clever and emotionally engaging, while others feel simpler or less memorable. Certain puzzle solutions occasionally rely on logic that may not immediately feel intuitive, which can lead players toward the hint system more often than expected. The free-to-play structure can also become noticeable at times. Energy systems and optional monetization occasionally interrupt the pacing, especially for players who prefer uninterrupted progression through multiple chapters in one sitting. Although the game remains more generous than many mobile-inspired free-to-play titles, these systems can still feel intrusive depending on the player’s tolerance for waiting mechanics. Another limitation is the somewhat static presentation. Characters are mostly represented through dialogue boxes and illustrated portraits rather than fully animated scenes. While the art style is charming, players expecting cinematic storytelling or advanced animation may find the presentation modest compared to larger-budget adventure games. The game succeeds primarily through clever design and engaging puzzles rather than technical spectacle. Adventure Escape Mysteries succeeds as one of the more polished and content-rich puzzle adventure collections available. Its accessible gameplay, strong variety, clever puzzles, and engaging storytelling make it highly appealing for fans of detective fiction, escape room challenges, and narrative-driven adventures. While the monetization systems and occasional inconsistencies hold it back from perfection, the overall experience remains highly entertaining and surprisingly rewarding for both casual players and dedicated puzzle enthusiasts. Ótimo game de puzzles e charadas.
I like trying to solve all the puzzles. Some of them are pretty difficult but that's what I like.
very nice
I’ve had this game downloaded on both my phone and my iPad and I’ve been playing it on and off for almost two years now. Around a week ago, I finally downloaded through Steam on my Mac. I don’t play it constantly, but I keep coming back to it because it’s genuinely enjoyable. One thing I really like is the key system. You get one key every three hours, with a maximum of two keys available at a time. That means you’re not encouraged to play nonstop, which I actually appreciate. It keeps the game feeling fresh instead of becoming repetitive. The puzzles are fun, well-designed, and easy to understand. I also like the variety of difficulty levels. The beginner puzzles are very accessible, while the intermediate ones are my personal favorites. They’re challenging enough to make you think but not so difficult that you get stuck for too long. Overall, I really enjoy the game. If I had one criticism, it would be the graphics. They’re not bad, but they feel a little rough and could be smoother and more polished. Another thing I would like to see improved is the story dialogue sections. Currently, you can only click the arrow to move the dialogue forward. I would prefer having the option to use my keyboard as well, as it would make the experience feel more comfortable and responsive. The menu navigation can also feel a bit slow when scrolling. I’m not sure whether that’s caused by my internet connection or by the game itself, but it’s something I’ve noticed. Despite these minor issues, I’m very satisfied with the game and would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys puzzle games and doesn´t want a game that you can finish in one go.
bad mobile port, stupid & fun, ;P, awfull paid content, who would be wants to pay, only stupid peoplez
