Adam and Eve: The Game - Chapter 1

Worst platformer I've ever played : D The game doesn't have such basic elements as an in-game menu.. there's only "press start to play the game", and you just play the game. The tutorial's messages are a little bit too late, but it honestly doesn't matter anyway. The game has the most basic controls I've ever seen in any video game ever.. you only need to use the three out of four of the directional arrows... you can't even duck in the game, something which even Super Mario Bros from 1985 had... I have no idea why most people complain about the controls' responsiveness, I had no problem playing the game on a keyboard. I guess the game's controller responsiveness is to blame? Even though the game advises you to play with a controller for the best experience... Speaking of the first SMB, the game's "gameplay" is based on that of the aforementioned game. You can collect 100 fruit to "generate life". Just like Mario needs 100 coins to get an extra life. Instead of green mushrooms, you've got... doves. The game's "gameplay" is described as "challenging".. except it's really not. It can be a little tiny bit challenging at the beginning, but as you go further, it's becoming easier and easier. By one of the final levels, I had over 10 lives (strangely enough, the life counter disappeared once I got 10 lives btw). The levels are all extremely short. The only issue can really be the fact there are no checkpoints whatsoever and no way of saving. You die = you start from the beginning of the game. But is it really an issue? No... the game is very easy once you get a hang of it.. which you will do very quickly, as the game has basically no surprises for you. If you played any basic platformer, then this game has no surprises for you at all. All you do in this game is really avoid some enemies, obstacles and just get from point A to point B. There's nearly no gameplay variety at all, except for the last two levels.. and the last one having the easiest boss in any video game I've ever played... and I've played lots of games. Story? Doesn't exist.. just look for Eve or something like that One of the tracks from the game is also stolen from YT.. no kidding. Summing it all up, just don't waste your money on this game, it can be beaten in an hour, but it's just totally not worth it. The gameplay is poor as heck, it's extremely short and very easy.. and there's simply very little to no fun at all being in it.

Adam and Eve: The Game - Chapter 1 маленький платформер без изысков с библейским сюжетом. Весь этот библейский сюжет строится на наиболее понятных и простых цитатах из Ветхого Завета, по одной после каждого уровня. Людям, которые не знают английский и никогда не читали Библию или Коран, скажу, не парьтесь, там все действия в рамках одной главы. Платформеры по своему скелету все одинаковы. В данном случае обозреваемый делает упор на прыжки. Придётся постараться, чтобы пройти все 25 уровней залпом. Даётся 3 жизни, попутно можно найти голубя, который подарит ещё одно дополнительное возрождение либо собрать 100 бонусов в процессе прохождения. Самое главное, что прогресс не сохраняется, померли 3 раза – заново, вышли из игры тоже заново. Отдельного упоминания заслуживают коварные текстуры травы, они визуально увеличивают уступ, на который необходимо запрыгнуть, в итоге вы падаете вниз. В остальном же геймплей скучный. Над графикой поработали до уровня «сойдёт». Над звуком и музыкой не старались, ладно хоть слух не режет. Каких-то багов и подвисаний не заметил, но можно же было сделать выход из игры не через главное меню, а также в подсказке написать клавишу с раскладки клавиатуры, а не с геймпада для Xbox, для его осуществления. Очевидно, что задумывается продолжение, но надеюсь оно не выйдет. Это пустая затея. У Religious Studios банально нет опыта. Но религиозные люди (не те клоуны в золоте) отличаются терпимостью, если они сумеют её направить на пусть истинный, то вполне может получиться что-нибудь уровня «не плохо». P.S. Надеюсь об игре не узнают кое-какие активисты, а то из вон рук плохо сделанная моделька Адама может кого-нибудь нечаянно оскорбить.
