Easily the best arcade footy game on Steam. A great developer who truly understands what to tweak and have a clear love for arcade footy games. If you have any interest in the genre, this is a must buy
First impressions - pretty good. Will continue playing casually, will see how it goes.
This has the vibe of 2000's era Fifa games on the PSP, but sadly it's very much broken. It doesn't even remember the controller setting you changed.

Even if you temper your expectations - the game will still let you down like your favourite football team. Thought I'd give this a go since it's not FIFA and pro evo's dead - Even at a 1.0 release, I can't recommend this game. The players feel like they're skating with the ball and there's no dribbling or ball control. The positives : -The file size is tiny. Currently under a GB in size. -Its not FIFA Negatives: -Its not pro evolution soccer. - feels like a game in an alpha state -Very buggy training section especially with the goalies. -Tapping R2 over and over to sprint = bad game design Verdict Go with efootball instead, it'll be better value for time and money. (Free & far superior) To the Devs, please look and study konami's pro evolution soccer, if you looking for ideas on how to improve.
Great little title takes you back to the 90s arcade action. With a carrier mode being the main draw of the game . There's a few bug with invisible walls. [ keeper makes saves from certain angles] . would of like to of seen the bench with substitute's and maybe a Manager ! the game runs well enough , clean and crisp visuals @4k
Now that the issue I had with the game got fixed, I can finally thumb it up! It's still rough around the edges and often feels like the players are gliding on ice instead of running, but the fun outweighs the clunk and frustration. It's challenging too and I'm curious to see how long would it take to master. I hope the dev keeps working on it. The potential is huge, especially if the moddability is emphasized. I don't know what else is possible right now other than editing team names and players. However adding moddable team kits, logos, adboards around the stadium, custom tournaments, leagues, formats etc. will keep the game alive for years to come! Cheers to all that and godspeed! Old review
I'll thumb down this game solely based on something that's there from day 1 and not yet addressed. Game loads up and on the screen you get a flashing text saying "press A to continue". That A of course is for a controller. The tutorial then loads up and all the instructions are about move the stick here, there, everywhere and press A or something else. Releasing a game on Steam, which last I checked is a PC platform, and neglecting mouse+keyboard is just stupid. Not that they aren't supported as there are settings and bindings set up. However the game can't be arsed to detect what you are using I guess, nor does it change once you start using them. The same on every start and load.
Really fun game. Highly recommend if you enjoy older arcade style sports games.
