Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's not a great game. To be honest it's fairly medicore, but it is what it advertises itself to be. The ability to move around in the map between combats feels entirely pointless, especially considering there's nothing really within the maps out side of a few very mildly interesting POI's. I dunno. If you are looking for a turn based strat in the Cthulhu world, it's not the worst option.
Not bad but enemy variety is too little and missions are quite repetitive.

Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics is a turn-based strategy title developed by Auroch Digital and published by Ripstone that takes the familiar structure of tactical warfare and injects it with supernatural horror inspired by Lovecraftian mythology. Set within the larger Achtung! Cthulhu universe, the game presents an alternate vision of World War II where military conflict extends beyond conventional battles into something far darker. Ancient cosmic forces, occult experiments, and unimaginable creatures become part of the battlefield, creating a tactical experience that feels distinct from traditional military strategy games. The story unfolds during a secret war hidden beneath the larger events of global conflict. In this version of history, enemy forces are not satisfied with ordinary weapons and military power. Forbidden rituals and dangerous supernatural research have unleashed horrors beyond human understanding, threatening to shift the balance of the war entirely. Players command an Allied strike team assembled to confront both enemy soldiers and unnatural threats emerging from forces humanity was never meant to control. The setting becomes one of the game's greatest strengths because it commits fully to its unusual concept. Military strategy games often rely heavily on realism or historical authenticity, but Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics embraces fantasy and horror without hesitation. Soldiers carrying rifles fight alongside investigations into occult activity. Hidden laboratories contain terrible discoveries. Ancient horrors emerge where ordinary combat should exist. The combination creates an atmosphere that feels unpredictable and unusual in a genre often focused on realism. Gameplay centers around squad-based tactical combat where positioning and decision-making determine success more than raw aggression. Every battlefield encounter encourages careful planning. Moving soldiers recklessly into exposed positions often leads to punishment, while thoughtful positioning creates opportunities to control engagements effectively. Cover usage, squad coordination, and resource management become essential components of survival. Players command specialized characters who each contribute unique strengths to combat situations. Different squad members fulfill specific battlefield roles, encouraging players to think carefully about team composition and tactical flexibility. Certain characters excel at direct combat while others provide support capabilities or specialized utility. This structure strengthens long-term strategy by rewarding adaptation rather than encouraging reliance on a single approach. One of the more distinctive mechanics involves the Momentum system, which adds an additional layer of tactical decision-making. Effective battlefield performance builds resources that can later be spent on stronger actions and abilities. Aggressive but intelligent play becomes rewarding because successful execution contributes directly toward creating future opportunities. The mechanic adds momentum to combat encounters while helping battles feel more dynamic than traditional turn-based systems built entirely around static actions. Progression systems also provide meaningful customization options throughout the campaign. Characters improve over time through skill development and equipment adjustments that allow players to shape squad capabilities according to preferred strategies. Weapon modifications and specialization paths create flexibility without overwhelming players with unnecessary complexity. The system strikes a balance between accessibility and tactical depth that supports experimentation across different playstyles. Enemy variety contributes heavily to maintaining engagement across the campaign. Human soldiers create traditional battlefield challenges, but supernatural threats introduce situations requiring entirely different tactical considerations. Horrific creatures influenced by Lovecraftian mythology alter combat pacing and force players to reconsider established strategies. The supernatural elements do not simply exist for visual variety. They directly influence gameplay and create encounters that remain fresh throughout progression. The atmosphere deserves recognition because it successfully combines military tension with horror presentation. Dark environments, unsettling enemy designs, and strong sound direction reinforce the sense that players are fighting against forces larger and stranger than ordinary warfare. Creature designs capture cosmic horror effectively while maintaining consistency with the military setting. The battlefield rarely feels safe, even after enemy soldiers have been eliminated. Visually, Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics focuses more on battlefield readability than technical spectacle. The presentation supports tactical clarity while maintaining atmosphere effectively. Environmental design strengthens immersion by presenting war zones that feel dangerous not only because of enemy combatants but because of the supernatural corruption spreading beneath the surface. The game does carry some limitations. Players accustomed to extremely deep tactical systems found in more complex strategy franchises may occasionally wish for greater mechanical flexibility. Certain systems remain streamlined compared to larger genre competitors. However, the game's identity comes less from overwhelming complexity and more from atmosphere, pacing, and creative setting design. What ultimately makes Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics memorable is its willingness to embrace an unusual vision completely. Auroch Digital delivers a strategy experience where cosmic horror strengthens military tactics rather than distracting from them. The result feels refreshing within a genre often built around familiar historical conflicts. For players who enjoy turn-based tactical gameplay, squad management, alternate history storytelling, and supernatural horror themes, Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics delivers a distinctive experience filled with tension, strategy, and memorable world-building. It may not reinvent tactical strategy entirely, but it offers a creative fusion of ideas that leaves a lasting impression. Rating: 7/10
Great fun! Good atmosphere.
it was okay, i liked the male characters in the game and the story, combat or enemy encounters can be repetitve and gameplay could be a bit dull, but the maps are somewhat small, so getting to mission objective would take a short time usually.
Was excited play but got and exe error. as the game is old i don't see it getting fixed.

A coragem é tão importante quanto a munição. Manter o esquadrão equilibrado emocionalmente é tão essencial quanto proteger suas vidas.

Nazistas, Criaturas e Abominações
Ao longo da campanha, você enfrentará tanto soldados nazistas fortalecidos por tecnologia oculta quanto criaturas monstruosas extraídas diretamente do universo lovecraftiano:

Shoggoths, massas amorfas de carne e olhos;
Deep Ones, seres anfíbios deformados;
Engendros híbridos, frutos de experimentos proibidos;

Campanha Sombria, Narrativa Tensa

Lovecraft e horror cósmico;
Jogos táticos como XCOM;
Histórias alternativas da Segunda Guerra;

Eh, decent enough game, but kinda shallow and pretty short too. Definitely not worth full price. Also has no replayability. Steam really needs to add a mixed or neutral option already.
I can' t get the game to load. It crashes during the load screen every time. An internet search shows that this game is very buggy, and players are experiencing all kinds of crashing issues. I've tried various compatibility modes, new versions of Visual Studio ++, new versions of direct x, but nothing fixes the issue. This appears to be abandonware; there is no active development to fix the issues that have beset the game for over 4 years. Maybe you will get lucky and it will work, but I would not recommend this game to anyone.
