About

Crafted with passion by the dream team that redefined side-scrolling beat 'em ups, Absolum mixes top-of-the-class combat action with modern roguelite elements, bringing all the vibes of the fantasy arcade hits of the past into an immersive adventure set in the original world of Talamh.

Talamh has been shattered by a magical cataclysm caused by ambitious wizards, leaving magic mistrusted by the common folk. Sun King Azra took advantage of this panic, enslaving wizards through his Crimson Order and placing loyal princes to rule over the conquered realms.
As Azra’s forces claim more and more lands, the high enchantress Uchawi and a small group of rebels rise from the shadows, wielding forbidden magic to challenge his oppressive regime and defy his absolute magic power.

Meet the outcast heroes of Talamh, each with their unique fighting style.
From the shadows of Yeldrim, Galandra emerges as an unstoppable force of nature. Her colossal sword strikes with deadly precision, combined with chilling, destructive necromantic powers. Her calm demeanor is a thin veil, barely concealing the furious anger brewing inside her.
Karl is the last free dwarf of Talamh. Armed with an ancestral blunderbuss and his bare fists, he’s a master of close-range brawls and explosive tactics. What he lacks in reach at mid-range, he makes up for with raw strength and quick thinking, making him a stalwart ally in the revolt against Azra's oppression.
During their ordeals, two mysterious heroes will join them on a quest to overthrow the Sun King: Brome, a wizard prodigy on a mission to preserve the future generations of his people, and the enigmatic Cider, a nimble skirmisher in search of answers among the scattered fragments of their own soul.

Absolum combines Dotemu and Guard Crush’s mastery in beat ‘em up gameplay with Supamonks' best-in-class art and animation. With its fast-paced action and endless replayability, Absolum will challenge you with multiple paths to explore and unpredictable encounters for a new experience each time you play.

Take down Azra’s elite guard with a mix of rapid combo chains and spellcasting powers, unleashing moves that feel as raw as they are strategic. Use magical counters and rare items to turn the tide in your favor and experience a combat system that demands skill and timing, pushing you to craft new strategies at every run to wreak havoc among the enemy ranks.

Lead the uprising against Azra's regime as a lone hero, or team up with a friend on your couch or online. Combine your elemental powers and synchronize your attacks into incredible chained combos!
The world of Talamh is an intricate tapestry brimming with secrets, stories, and betrayals. From the majestic mines of Grandery to the lush forests of Jaroba, every step of your odyssey will be accompanied by a magnificent soundtrack by composer Gareth Coker (Ori, Halo Infinite, Prince of Persia), with collaborations from Yuka Kitamura (Dark Souls, Elden Ring), Mick Gordon (Doom Eternal, Atomic Heart), and more!

A solid co-op beat-em-up game. Pretty good variety, cool characters and fun combos. Worth at full price. 8/10 from me.
pretty tight as hell gameplay i liked learning to use the strike combos, skill and arcanas, learning when to deflect, learning when to clash, how to stay in on bosses i've played a lot of beatemups where there's just one optimal air combo / juggle or there's really nothing you can do to avoid taking damage, and seeing the enemies be particularly mean here but having the tools to solve those problems ended up being very fun the earlier bosses in the game just get easier and easier as your skills develop the elemental pool gets a bit flooded with elements that make it harder to build consistent damage and some of the trinket stacking is a little hazy between outright useless trinkets / items and ones that break the entire run but you can still usually make interesting choices when you're running a round to get stronger faster between the different types of upgrades i wasn't huge on the story, or stopping to read all the little bits of lore but aesthetically its really fresh, it feels like a good post apocalypse fantasy artstyle and the voice clips and characters never got too annoying shame the game i guess didn't sell well enough to get extended content / dlc i do believe they patched in a bunch of stuff post launch but hopefully the team who worked on this can make an absolum 2 or a different game that takes forward a bunch of these gameplay mechanics maybe we can just leave out the random chaos portal upgrade next time

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Супер игра с понятым и простым сюжетом, отличным юмором. Подкачало разве что немного кривая позиционка врагов, которые находятся на разных линиях площадки.

I have 60 hours or so on my Switch 2. I refunded it on pc when I decided to go Switch, but non because I don't like the game. I wish it was longer, but I think it just felt so short because I played the HELL out of this game non stop for awhile lol I basically 100 percented it. It's not just a beat 'em up with rougelite elements, its a work of art. You have light, heavy, abilities, and an ultimate; it sounds basic, but the overall design of the combat takes that system to a higher level. The air juggling system is what really makes the combat stand out. You can keep a whole group of enemies in a death loop if you play your cards right lol There are so many different combinations of upgrades. If you make the proper build, you can discover new techniques to just DESTROY the enemies. I made a throwing knife build and didn't even hardly need to use my actual light and heavy attacks haha. This game is fantastic, and I'm looking forward to Dotemu giving us some more content for it!
A very fun beat-em up roguelite with Hades-like meta progression. Highly recommend.
This is arguably one of the best niche co-op beat-'em-ups of the decade. Playing it solo —and with a friend offers two completely different experiences. The game draws you in from the very first seconds, leaving you wanting more with every attempt, and the deeper you get into it, the more impactful it feels. I hope the game continues to evolve and—if possible—expands its scope to allow for four-player co-op; that would make it absolutely perfect for me. Absolum CINEMA 10/10
Прикольно пограти з другом. А якщо їх нема, то, як не дивно, гравці для кооперативу знаходяться дуже швидко. А так, візуальна складова на вищому рівні, геймплей видовишний. І на додачу кайфовий трек від Міка Гордона.
Bon petit roguelite !
