A Plot Story

This isn't a HOG game; it's more of a match/puzzle hybrid. The so-called "HOG" element this game features is nothing more than just a glorified 'test your eyesight' matching puzzle. Items are dispersed around a board and you need to find either pairs or trios of the same object; they aren't even blended into the background like how items in a HOG should be. The game gets repetitive and boring really quickly since the minigame variants more or less revolve around jigsaw or match puzzles. There is a story element, but it is so incredibly dull that you forget it even exists. Overall, poor execution and boring gameplay; would not recommend at all.

All of the mini games, none of the story. I enjoy the style of casual games that this is spawned from, but I want to be able to travel from location to location, using objects I've found to solve puzzles.. not just the match games. If I hadn't gotten this in a bundle, I'd be even more disappointed.

It isn't long into A Plot Story's five hour campaign that the feeling of samey-ness settles in... and never goes away. After about an hour of matching objects and playing three different mini-games, you've experienced everything the game has to offer. The rest is just grinding through 91 levels while the titular "Plot Story" plays out in one or two sentence fragments in-between. Even as a casual game that was intended to be played for a few levels at a time, this one overstays it's welcome by at least two hours.

Game has some okay concepts, good enough time sink, art was fine, but there were so many bugs it's almost unplayable...I know, I played every level.

Good points : the story is interesting, the pictures are very nice, little inside game games Negative points : Extremely repetitive, very very long, no background for the hidden objects so it's always a heap of objects (always the same), some bugs (I want to play without time but you can move objects from a heap in some hidden objects part if you have n o countdown) I gave up before the end
