A Planet Full of Cats

Cute game and a lot to do! Also a nice reminder of Super Metroid :)

🎮 Finished? ✅ The newest instalment in the Full Of Cats series, this one has much more of a story arc. I loved the basic premise, but I struggled with some puzzles and needed to use a guide for them. Other than that, the cat hunting was a joy 🤌

Coming from building full of cats series, this game is a huge improvement with killer musics! 10/10 100% recommand

All of this publisher’s other cat-finding games have been absolutely fantastic, but unfortunately, this one isn’t. The gameplay is extremely repetitive, and there are very few extra or cleverly hidden objects to discover. On top of that, a large part of the game is spent simply trying to figure out where you’re supposed to go and clicking around to find the correct spot. In other words, you end up constantly moving back and forth between locations, often out of frustration. It genuinely feels awful to give any of these cat-finding games a negative review, but this one simply wasn’t ready for release. I’ll still happily buy all of their future cat games, but this one just doesn’t live up to the standard set by the developers’ previous titles.

I did think it was a little obtuse around the third boss fight and where to go after, but I eventually got there. Overall a good game.
