2tinycowboys is an action-packed western-themed arcade multi-scrolling platformer in 2D, with huge variety, in which you take the role of one of 9 different cowboys, each with his/her own play-style. It has up to 4 players split-screen multiplayer available and quirky game-play and characters.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Seems very unfinished and the level design is not great. It was unclear where you were supposed to go or what to do.

The graphics look like they were generated on the fly in 2010, but not on purpose. Everything is pixelated, but not "retro", just crooked.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This is an unusual one... yes, at face value it's a pixelcrap platformer shooter PvP arena with no players, like many hundreds of others just like this. The difference is that this was made and designed for Amiga 500 emulators, so there's a dead corpse exhumed for all of us to look at and say "Ah, that's why it's dead." "2tinycowboys" is a failed PvP game. Why is it dead? It's time for a video game autopsy! Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Developers often assume just because they published their game, it's going to "go viral". I'm guessing this is a case of the developers making this game in complete isolation without even bothering to look at what other PvP games on Steam already offer. The market for PvP games is crowded and the player base is limited. This game never reached "critical mass", didn't "go viral", and didn't offer anything to differentiate itself enough. Even with no upfront cost, it failed to appeal to gamers for several reasons. There is no real single player content here. The developer thought other players could replace actual storytelling and level design. That was a bad bet to make, and yeah, the developer lost. Hard. Without a player base or meaningful solo content (storytelling, narrative, you know, what makes games like GTA famous), the game has nothing to offer. Other players are not a substitute for doing the job of a developer and creating meaningful game content. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Even as a free game, this couldn't find an audience. With a peak of only 4 players, it's clear the Steam community took one look and walked away. They literally couldn't pay people to spend time playing this. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
Не думайте, что если есть cowgirl, то тут будет что-то похожее
2tinycowboys has a fun-looking retro western concept, but the multiplayer side is basically dead. The game is built around up to four-player PvP and local multiplayer, yet it has an all-time Steam peak of only 3 players, so there isn't exactly much of a community to play with. The single-player option helps, but a game designed around multiplayer loses a lot of its appeal when nobody is playing it. There are also no Steam achievements or Trading Cards, despite plenty of obvious milestones involving characters, gold bars, enemies and difficulty levels. A neat idea, but it feels like a game that arrived on Steam and was immediately forgotten.
