About
Entities known as The Originals have lived for centuries, granted time, granted power, and the freedom to abuse both. That power is now owed.
Noa Brooklyn was born The Collector, raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose: taking that power back.
Explore a handcrafted Amsterdam by day. At night, uncover what lies beneath its surface. Every facade carries a gablestone. Not all of them tell the truth.
The Originals walk among Amsterdam’s citizens, hidden behind human faces. Identify them. Mark them. When the Esbat comes, confront them in their true form under the moon. Collect what is owed.
Noa commands witchcraft and spellcasting passed down through generations of Zaindaris. Each target can be approached in multiple ways. Strategy, timing, and choice define the outcome. Every Esbat is a reckoning.
Noa is not alone. Aaron, summoned from 1999, now sees the world through the eyes of a cat. Together, they are one: Switch between Noa and Aaron across two radically different playstyles. One wields witchcraft. The other has four paws and flair.

I liked this game, truly..... but I would not recommend purchasing it until more content is released, you get to play maybe 16% of the game with early release.... its not worth the price to play a small clunky, unfinished fraction of a single player game and chances you will not be able to keep you current save when updates happen...forcing you to repeat the single player storyline whenever they decide to update/add content.
Every recipe you find, your collected inventory, and the skills you find
have a chance to become corrupted files if they slowly breadcrumb updates to single player story driven game. When I asked about it in their discord, I was met with a response from a dev comparing their development to Project Zomboid... a sandbox survival multiplayer game....that's been in development for over a DECADE. I will wait to recommend this game until I see a few updates/added core storyline is available to make the price worth for a story driven single player game.

A very promising Early Access game with a great setting I played 1666: Amsterdam on stream for several hours and really enjoyed my time with it. The story and especially the setting caught my attention very quickly. Amsterdam is a fascinating choice for this kind of game, and I really like the dark atmosphere and the world the developers are building. One of my favorite ideas is the cat and the ability to use it to take control of other people. It's a really interesting mechanic and gives the game something unique that I haven't experienced quite like this before. Of course, it's still in Early Access and there are things that can be improved and expanded, but for me the most important part is already there: I want to see where the story and the game itself are going. I'll probably give it some time now and return after a few more updates, but that's not because I didn't enjoy it. Quite the opposite. I'm genuinely curious to see how 1666: Amsterdam develops from here. I really hope the developers keep going in this direction and continue expanding the game, its world and its ideas. Definitely a 👍 from me. Keep up the good work!
1666 has a lot I like, particularly Amsterdam and its atmosphere and the story. Amsterdam looks great. At this early stage I’m not too worried about performance — my rig can power through a lot of it — but there are still some small things, especially with the combat, that I think needs work. Most fighting comes down to melee combat of hitting the enemy twice, dodge, repeat. There are spells you can use, but the game’s screen is really busy, so it’s hard to target an enemy with all the press n’ holds and slow motion, stylized graphics splashing up on the screen. Every encounter, even minor ones, slow the action to reveal closeups of an enemy you’ve seen a dozen times, charging at you in slow motion. What’s more, when the actual combat begins, it resets the camera, which is annoying. Am I playing a really long tutorial, or is this how the game is? I have to press one button to jump, then press another to hold, then another to lacerate, but only at the precise moment… All of the fluff is unnecessary, and only serves to break immersion. Oh yeah, and you spend part of the time playing as a cat — often for some light platform puzzle elements — but the game won’t let you jump unless you’re in a specific spot and, if you’re looking even a tiny bit off that section of the screen, the jump icon disappears and you can’t jump anyway. This is currently my least favorite part of the game. Finding the path just isn’t fun; I found more invisible walls than I did jump icons. 1666 could end up great; I’m rooting for it. I truly believe the gameplay will improve, but I’m hoping the dev team ditches the flashy spell meters and slow motion entrances. They just get in the way.
Ciekawa dosyć czasem trudna ale dobra gra czasem trzeba pokombinować ale detal jaki system walki bardzo dobry wybacza ale jak przesadzisz pokazuje gdzie twoje miejsce
Atmospheric, gloomy and beautifully designed.
For an early access release, the quality and amount of gameplay is amazing. Some tasks require quite the thought process and frustration, however figuring it out feels quite rewarding. The story is compelling, even if I have a hard time understanding the magical language, remembering terms, and putting 2 and 2 together. Overall, a very engaging and interesting game. I'm excited for its future.
Free bird. Kinda buggy.
